A normal air conditioner will have water condensate in the indoor fancoil and discharge through a draining pipe to the nearest drain. If water leaking from front of air conditioner inspect to see if dripping from body of machine, or water droplets clinging to front area. To test, operate machine for 30 minutes and then use flashlight to check under front edge of base. Small water droplets here indicate an air leakage problem. Add foam insulation to stop warm air from infiltrating. Drain hole blocked. Rear of air conditioner base has a drain hole or groove to allow water to escape. If becomes blocked water can back up. To test, operate machine for 30 minutes and then inspect if draining properly. If appears blocked use a small piece of wood to open drain hole at rear of metal base. CAUTION: Never be tempted to drill holes into the air conditioner body to relieve water pooling. Severe damage can result. Internal drains blocked. There are small passageways that allow water to drain from front of air conditioner to the rear. If they become blocked water will pool at front of machine and overflow onto floor. If this happens the air conditioner will require removal from window and servicing. Outside temperature too cold. This occurs at end of cooling season. If outside temperatures drops below 60 degrees Fahrenheit at night the cooling coil may ice up. If no leakage at bedtime but water in front of machine in morning, suspect this problem. If this problem suspected turn off machine before bedtime and restart as day warms. Alternately, operate machine at night with selector switch in ‘fan only’ position. This will circulate room air during night but not allow cooling.

Hi All, Would propose we all help to gather some SOPs as monitoring to minimise retification works due to incompetent installers. Pre-Install Stage: 1. Sizing of compressor, fancoils, location and position determination. >what to look out for - how to calculate btu required for room size. - maxmise savings and minimise energy consumption. - brand names pricing and efficiency (time required for cooling) - what type of good insulation to use? 1st Installation Stage: 1. Install piping and copper coils, insulation, casing, bracket. > what to look out for - condensate drain location? - correct bracket used and postion, especailly for EMs. 2nd Installation Stage: 1. Install compressor and fancoils. > what to look out for - leak during on for 6hours? - fancoils leak? and why leak? - time for cooling? dun give final payment if not cold enough? Ask them state in contract? 3rd Stage: 1. Issue solving > what type of problems? - Leaks and root cause. - Not cold and root cause. - who to contact and whos responsibility.

Today again Toshiba agent proved to be useless. Check temperature only. All Best at least they opened up the casing to check for bendings at 90degs. Can anyone enlighten me? What is the purpose of getting an aircon if the fan coil cannot reach comfortable temperature within a short time. Then what is the pupose of setting the remote control temperature at 20deg if it can never reach that temperature? Pls! I am not asking for 17 degs in 30mins. I am asking for 24degs in 30mins. Called a few companies to verify; one of them said it takes at most 10mins to settle to 24degs....

Went to CASE on Mon, and Tues they called and explain carefully and say will have to arrange for Joint Inspection with Toshiba. Wed morning no news, called them and make a trip to IMM All Best (with intention to make an ugly scene) to get them to confirm the arrangement. Confirmed and everything set. Will update again..

Dear Concern, It seems you have no fundamentals problems with your air-con. I think Mitshubishi should have a product specs say when you on all 3 air-con units for sys3 and sys4 what is the difference? I rougly think yours could probably be ovesized. I went to CASE today to complain against All Best because my air-con not cooling efficiently. (24deg after 1hr) They say need visible and techinical evidence. Ask MIT write service report and prove that sys4 needs more energy, then call GC change it. If they are uncooperative, go to CASE immediately.

I meant they only submit to undoing what they did wrong which was to replace the bracket and make the air-con compressor face the window. Your case does not seems like copper coils sweating but more like pvc grey pipe leakage. They may have used the wrong sealant. It does not seem logical the copper pipes can sweat so much, do not be con by them. Btw i went to CASE to ask them settle my air-con not cooling efficiently issue. (reach 24degs at 1hr) super long. Seek some advise from Gain City, says it could be due to 90 deg bended using bare hands instead of heating the bend. CASE mentioned for every action against them need evidence. You may have to prove by pictures them electrical appl spoilt due to leak. May have to re-produce the leak and take pic as evidence. Verbal no use. Please visit CASE website and fight for your rights.

Why box up? because they install till very ugly mah. And true enough, the old birds all left and now all new screwup join them. They surely professional because my unit is EMassionate. They install my compressor perpendicular 90deg to window. Means hot air blow into service balcony. Call Rick and he almost wanted pay but kena my lecturing and threating to inform CASE and advise my friend to drop deposit then submit to my demands. I keep harassing them till i am thier All BEST harrassment customer. Haha. - now my Toshiba Inverter 4 as recommended by (Bernard of IMM) aircon not cold enough (max lowest 26deg) at 17deg setting maybe going sell it everything at $1000, i buy $3400+ 3week old only anyone? - system checked by Toshiba agent they say aircon works fine at 26deg. World standard at 24deg. On 4hrs liao only 26deg...

Installed a Toshiba Inverter4 system 2weeks ago: - Service feedback on All Best. - air compressor unit came 2hours late. Sales side never even call to inform of whatever the delay. Service poor. - after install one of the aircon unit at my bedroom encountered leak. - called technician and found aircon unit discharge piping leak. seal again and problem seems to be resolved. Quality Issue. - subsequent week my frends came and complained my aircon not cold even at 17deg setting. They also complained that my service balcony is very hot 35degs (uncomfortable) after the compressor was installed. - called All Best and a newly joined technician came and said my compressor unit facing into the service balcony thats why hot. So that means previous guy install wrong way. - All Best almost wanted me pay for new replacement of L bracket. - this could be the reason why the compressor is not cooling the rooms sufficiently. Suspect either the compressor got problem or the facing of the compressor really got problem. - heard from the new guy that alot of the experienced technicians left All Best. - current buyers must monitor their work carefully and never believe in what they say coz they will beat around the bush. be firm with them. - now still stuck with the aircon not cold enough issue. - they ask me call and feedback to Toshiba. - Toshiba agent came and checked (with meter) ambient can only reach 26deg in 1hr. - i set at 17deg yet cannot acheive desired. - say due to delta temperature difference ok and aircon works. - now i suspect either compressor or piping got issue. - this already drag 3weeks, probably got to accept this situation. - sad, no energy to fight these pple but to ask you guys to be careful. - my current house 12yr old aircon even much cooler.
