Hi Seashell.. mine was a package from the new contractor I engaged.. Acid wash for whole house plus dewax is $300.. must say they had a hard time to earn this $300 cos m whole kitchen tiles were full of cement and the surface rough.. the cleaner was scrapping, cleaning and "cursing" at the same time..

Hi Seashell.. thanks..i bought it at Sin Lek.. i called their sales person and confirm that must remove / polich away the wax else will be ugly in times to come ..funny thing is that Ah Soon and his tiler told me no need ..haizz nvm la...i rectify the issue by paying myself..now the tiles v shiny and nice

For wood dining tables..u wanna rectangle one or round? For rectangle, u can try natural living, scan teak, barang barang , charis living ( can custom made) for round the only ones i found are from Zen traditions.. For bathroom accessories, i recommend heritage (geylang) & tropical bath ( newly open @ balestier..nearby TMC) look for andy

Ok.. i called tile shop.. they say the wax is to protect during the tiling.. after done shd polish off the wax so that it's nice else sometimes after prolonged period of time after we wash the flr and pressure applied differently might look not nice and capture dirt

i also think so lei.. but contractor say no remove the wax no nice... wonder what's right and wat's wrong

Hi SS, is yours homo tiles? My new contractor say must polish the tiles so that the wax on top of the tiles will be removed..anyone heard this before?

Haizzz..think must be v jialat...think must be those first time subcons he engaged and no quality control at all...

hmm if lidat then if his workers suddenly wanna do some work at place how? u open the locks for them?

Just to share my woes to Ah soon and ex ah soon's customers...today my plumber come and to our shocked our toilet sewage was blocked ( full of cement) the plumber say someone must have deliberately pour in the cement to let it harden.. that's the prob of not paying subcons.. i dun have my tiles hacked but my sewage blocked !!!!
