I'm really sorry to hear what you all are going thro. I remember when I did my 1st renovation, my contractor ended up in jail half way thro'. One really trying period. Living in a home half done. When he came out didn't pay me back the money he owe me. Made a lost big time. You are in my prayers. God Bless.

Hi, Have been waiting for melancholic's response for the longest time. In the meantime, I have been doing my own search. Last week I visited a friend's condo which is being renovated. I had a chat with one of the workers there doing the false ceiling & plastering. He told me he would be starting on his own next month. Wow.... feel that I hit a jackpot.... because I just wanna do minor renovation and would rather go to the worker directly. Will be meeting up with him soon. Also will visit my friends house again to see the finished work.

I went to both the places today. For light switches Choo Chiang is much cheaper.
