  1. Hi Sam, Thanks for your clarification. So, I guess it also depend on where we need to mount the storage heater. Btw, do u haf everjoint's contacts?
  2. Hihi, Thanks for info. Actually I also don't know if both models are energy saving type or not? From what I know there were 2 types only but don't know what's the diff b/w them?
  3. oh i see... guess it shouldn't be much of a problem then. TQ!
  4. Hi El Nino_Al Nito, Understand you are using Joven storage heater, may i know is the energy saving type is horizontal model? Are there only 2 types for Joven?
  5. Gals, Thanks for sharing. Joleena, pls let us know what the contractor say abt the seepage thingy.
  6. LOL.... no lah, my mistake for typing wrongly No, i haven't get one yet.
  7. Why not buy online, it cost $5 for one. I don't know about yours but my agent buy and send soft copy to me. Somemore, she didn't want me to pay her. Oh issit yours is private property?
  8. Ahh... Bcos we got it at a good price and self collect will save us some cost so no choice but to get it now
  9. For this, my concern is "what if the tempered suay suay break" that's mean we have to remove our cabinets in order to replace one?" if I am not wrong, silicon will be in placed to prevent seep thru' so cabinets should be up first follow by "backing". Any experts here can advise?
  10. Thanks ger... Actually, i meant quilt cover together with bedsheet not quilt... Quilt should be wash alone due to the thickness. So, i guess 6.5kg is sufficient for quilt cover+Qsized bedsheet
  11. hahaha.... i think we (Zelly, lilithfiend, Samgalz and myself) will be renovating almost at the same time.
  12. Hi Joleena, Congrats, your reno almost completed. Pls take more pict of your swee swee home when eveything is in place.
  13. Kiasu Sporean, right? Actually we don't really matter to get now since we manage to get it at quite a low price (thanks to my brother's lobang) plus the stock is running low as advised by the person in charge. So, we tot it might be good to collect it first. Moreover, the warranty will only take effect after it has been fixed up.
  14. 18-May-2010 =Purchase of Hob & Hood= Hahaha.... finally got my Fujioh hob & hood today. Nothing much to show cos both items are still in carton. Fujioh Hood FX-900 Fujioh Hob FG-792 GL
  15. ya, guess it shouldn't be of much problem
  16. 8-May-10 =Shopping at IFC and Sungei Kadut area= Was combing around this area and saw something that got caught our eyes. Was drooling on the dining table and coffee table too bad it was too pricey so end up we decided to drop by to the most recommended by forummers furniture shop @ AMK. Unclear pict taken by phone.. sorry! Dining table with 6 chairs Coffee table Coffee table extended
  17. kekeke..... in fact, our current hob is also black tempered glass. I even asked my helper for comment and still 'glass' much more easier to maintain, unless we clean off the stain on the s/s hob immediately otherwise we'll need abit more effort to clean it away. Don't think it will be easy to break bah, if not the one we have already gone for long (choy choy choy) cos if you see the way my FIL cooks, you will be like he's those 'ping ping piang piang' type (rough and chor lo) but of cos he cooks nice food/soup for us everyday
  18. High 5.. how come we feel the same? Seriously, I don't know why i felt that way.. i guessed i could be feeling nervous so excitement flows in as well, was afraid that our application will not go thru' smoothly. Sort of deducted, initially they asked for $5K MORE which some other potential buyers had it reduced since they wanna extend 1 mth. No chance for us to bargain as there are some other potential buyers (we got info from the other agents) Arhh...my dear, i think you might have got us wrong. We were debating on type of material for 'Hob'. Anyway, my table top is white with glass backing (should be those normal-colourless). Hmm... i always like to have a glass backing instead of S/S, my thoughts is, S/S not easy to manage esp for backing.
  19. S/s fridge? So, usually those like samsung, panasonic are made of? Sorry for my noob question.. Can your washer wash quilt, queensized bedsheet at the same time? I was told to get at least 8kg top loader for 1 complete wash.
  20. Told him but but.... you know some men are hard to convince Opps.... all the men will come after me for saying that! Sorry ah guys but sometime it's really good to listen to women. Thanks ger. Really? Funny ah, we should be feeling excited one way or the other. No, it has been "so called" deducted from the COV.
  21. Hey lilithfiend, Don't get too upset, we are on the same boat now.. I need to wait for another 3-4 weeks for seller to HO keys to me. Let's wait tgt bah! *sob*sob*
  22. =updates= Today is our 2nd appt, so legally we are the officially house owner already... But, seems like I don't feel excited at all Probably, bcos of the 1 mth extention from seller bah. So right now, it's another 1 mth or less (i hope) of waiting. Counting down and waiting patiently for my Agent to call us when they are ready to move out.
  23. ID revert with the choice of Hob..... and the winner goes to "me" (black tempered glass). Wahahahaha, hubby said i don't need to bribe him to win already lor. LOL!!
  24. Hey Fencer, This is getting ridculous... Wonder does he know what is he doing or not? Hope you can settle your problem. Cheer up
  25. Our current home is also tempered glass hob, we realised it's easy to maintain since s/s tend to have scratches/stubborn stain. Practically, tempered glass is the choice but hubby thinks for a more complete/nicer kitchen, s/s is the one. Nevertheless, thanks for your advise. Hubby suggested to leave it to ID to advise.. LOL. lilithfield, for our case the tempered glass cost more than s/s.
