  1. excellent choice on WMF cause I bought WMF too. ha your 30 pcs set look exceptionally nice. sure dont seem cheap to me. erm... everyone is referring to the same place ya, just to make sure no one is confused. and indeed, the rugs are way much cheaper and incredibly feel good quality. imagine I bought my 2.2 x 1.6m rug at only $220
  2. Living Room Initially, we wanted a light with fan above the coffee table, but our ID insists it would spoil the look. hai, ID never seems to quite agree with a ceiling fan to a more contemporary modern reno theme huh? Dining Room The Dining Room has a set of 8 mirrors, to serve as a feature wall cum backdrop. Initially, we wanted a display cabinet but realised the living cum dining area is not long enough. Notice the bottom right mirror is actually a sliding door for access to the bedrooms. In addition, we realised that we can watch TV while dining whether we tilt our heads left or right..hmmm sliding door to the rooms indeed! with the full length mirror creating the visual, yea.. your dining area will look very very deep Master Bedroom The master bedroom will have a bed against a feature wall, with a suspended tv console. The mirror (taller than what you see here) at the side is for my wife to admire herself. whack a king size bed! sure looks ample space enough to put one Bedroom 2 think you posted a wrong picture, cause is the living room pic ya Bedroom 4 The last bedroom is actually a study cum guest room. Will wrap the study table with solid top and round the edges/corners so that my child will be safe® from sharp corners. would it better to box up the wall then you can really nicely balance the study table in the middle? jus my 2 cents view all in all, the pictures are looking great!
  3. for real. as in i saw one that looks like what you want i.e a replica is it real real per se, i dunno lei. and really, i don't know the pricing cause it was not in my selection u c. think u can check Supersimon27's blog, think he has it. when i first came into tblog, i followed his blog quite closely cause i was thinking of being part of the henner club. ha
  4. like i said i deserved it. ha in fact, H&B actually offered me to go for a smaller raindance at 120mm to play safe then upgrade if things are positive. but coming frm a 3rd floor dwelling i am staying now, i am confident. and if i may add, yea.. plain stubborn
  5. Immediately after paying up at Home & Bathroom, we made our move to lightings.com.sg @ Jln Berseh to check out some lightings. nothing that catches our eye except for some models for referencing. but wife spotted a ceiling fan that really suits the living room and kitchen overall feel. plus, a likely candidate that our id would select and use. however, @ $550 a piece, shop already commented that is more of design than performance. anyone seen this ceiling fan before? reviews much needed! Star Multimax designed by Y. Gorali Gee.. is 4 in the morning?! time to crash
  6. is another entire day spent all for the new house started off with the "dong tu" at the stroke of 1pm rushed down to meet ID to see final quote again at 1.45pm (YEAH, final quote seems reasonable enough!) and shopping all the way from 3pm onwards and the only damages done for the day are the taps and mixers at Home and Bathroom Building Products. and what else but Hansgrohe! Focus E2 Bath Package for common bath Additional ala carte basin and shower mixer from Focus Focus E2 for mbr and despite all the gentle warnings, we still went ahead with a Raindance E 150 3jet EcoSmart /Unica Set 0.90m. @ 150mm that means right now, i can only bank on my lower floor, newer estate and a water heater and hope for the best water pressure. this much more bulkier design definitely does not look as sharp as the other but with the triangular attachment give me another 2-3 cm away from the bar. much needed actually. dont want to feel so near to the wall. I know, I deserve it if the water pressure does not happen. but faith!!! must have faith! ha UPDATES Kitchen Mixer
  7. gd things await to those who wait! ha heard that the pump booster cost more than 1k. not sure if is true or not tks, will check it out ya
  8. tell me if you are.. you can reference me. ha the infinity island.. i'm kinda hoping for more updates for a long long time. ha WELL SAID!
  9. hey hey, reno all looking gd! and i jus realised our floorplan somewhat similar lei. ha and you know what? we're on the 4th floor too! hahaha
  10. chey, i got all my tissues ready and made coffee too. but nt long enough to get bored lei.. haha car porch receiving new tiles? pse check with your contractor what cement adhesives are they going to use. thermal variations and shear movement stress induced by vehicles mean the adhesive need to be graded as flexible adhesive. otherwise, tiles may debond ya. jus fyi
  11. now how you wanna sell me then? i know i will love your light and was thinking pay $1000 straight. alas, too bad la. wahahahah eh eh.... we all very suspenseful lei. haha
  12. I dong tu-ed today at 1pm bro! a simple knock and a shout of HUAT AH! does the trick. haha if its for the real mccoy, I can't help. but the wannabe is available at lightings.com.sg
  13. akan datang.. is coming soon! ha is really "wu liao" but for the fun of it.. some suspense here! ha with regards to water pressure, made a few calls yesterday to TC, SP services, hdb technical officer. as with all government departments, they like to push me around citing is not under their jurisdiction. but they all seems to point to my id's plumber to ask him to run a check on the water pressure itself. btw, i dropped by MS hangrohe showroom yesterday in the midst of my work. nt really well dressed considering the showroom seems really atas! but i can't be bothered. for the love of my new house, i stormed in loose jeans, company polo shirt and waxed hair that was under construction helmet for 1 hour. but all is worth it cause sampling the water from the raindance... boy does the water feel more erm... "sexy", "tame" and ya, dunno why the word came into my mind - voluptuous! then in my mind, i was imagining how awesome my showers would be next time when suddenly a thought slammed right into my head. such lovely water on my body is definitely worth it, but then do i need such water technology on my pots and plates? so hmm... thinking if i should skip the kitchen tap from hansgrohe and get another brand instead. tks for the lobang man.... I will give it a thought! hmm, is confirmed from a salesperson in the hansgrohe showroom that focus (not sure if both s and e included) series all german qc and technology but china assembled. but yeap, he did commented that the quality is still undeniably hansgrohe.
  14. yea, ppl who are into this model pse kindly note that the air wash is really limited ya. nevertheless, I still went ahead with this model but grey color
  15. make it me too. but will be getting raindance to double up as rainshower instead of Croma 100 Showerpipe. the latter is jus way out of my budget. hey madcat, hope all is well for your reno ya p.s: which floor are you residing at? nice green views!
  16. woo hoo... reno has started for you huh! from heaps of destruction, thou flat shall reborn!
  17. Thank you for your kind words. yea, me and wife can't wait either! ok ok, tks for the heads up guys! am hoping the 6yr old flat doesn't disappoint me. will call the technical officer tomorrow to cfm on another note, got a pm from another forum mate asking bout my brandt oven citing that brandt require 16A to run. so looks like a call to technical officer is a must eh, i remember it was a salesman who told me so. ok, will verify again. sorry if i misled. my bad. hahaha.... i am planning to show the 3ds when the time is ripe. for now, jus wanna keep it under wrap. hee
  18. me too, dont quite trust these ppl. they come hard and go fast and i think is almost impossible to have after service. my mum and dad once ganna such "cons" i think. a woman and guy who claims that they live near and frequent my jurong area and even claimed that they saw my mum at the playground a few times (even though my mum had never seen them before) said they wanna demo how easily it is to break apart the sliding window. somewhat charmed their way inside my house, did a demo and convinced my parents to do it because of safety and to cut the story short, before my parents knew it, they had all the windows front and back reinforced with their "new locks" and charged us 700+ bucks for it. yea, so i have doubts with such ppl
  19. All gd bro? my side "dong tu-ing" coming saturday. let's hope our reno happens side-by-side eh.. you "zao gor" wa, i "zao gor" lir
  20. thurs and 2 more days to weekend. now that tiles are all confirmed, all attention are diverted to lights and the sanitary wares for coming saturday house shopping! in my walkabout rite amongst the myriad of choices and brands for taps and mixers, I chanced upon the honchos like hansgrohe, grohe, damixa and of course the likes of pozzi, paffoni, hansa and the latest i came about, Nobel. and still, my heart, my eyes, my soul, my.. u get the drift la, goes with Hansgrohe. so boy am I glad that there's still the package pricing at Home & Bathroom when I was there on tuesday! so am likely to go with Focus E2 package for common toilet which is very reasonable i think with one costing a mere $100+. still i have to bear in mind that focus e2 is made in china, so I still have to keep my fingers cross that I am making a right buy. did i type many "so"? I did. so? so not gd english. ok, i'm gibberishing. as for for mbr, my wife is really h e l l bent on getting a rain shower for mbr be it hansgrohe or not. in fact, her eyes have long set on a KrisRoz rainshower when I brought her to hoe kee @ genting lane previously. i once mentioned I have been a red pail and scoops of water to settle my shower for the good 28 years of my life, so to spend a thousand bucks for quality and therapeutic rain shower seems to be too much a luxury for me. but then relentless me still wants to use hansgrohe for everything, so it helps that Home & Bathroom is having a 25% for their ala carte items. so is quite decided then, bridging between wife and my wants, i may choose Raindance series since it can double up as a rainshower. however, but at a miserable 150mm diameter only. really hope its shower technology make my money worth. there's still quite a few "so", I really don't know why. so not me then there's kitchen? did i mention I may want to get hansgrohe too? but NNNNNOoooooo, the industrial tap one is too way expensive. but spotted one with pull out at a much affordable rate. i mean at poh seng the pozzi is almost a $200 a set too. so ya, xim tiang tiang may grab hansgrohe too. THERE'S STILL A SO IT IN!!! burning a big hole with the taps and mixers already, it only means that I have to go really easy with the toilet sinks, kitchen sink and toilet bowls. rrreeaally easy.. and most likely it will be one stop from Poh Seng. but i have yet to drop by Sim Siang Choon at mackenzie which seems to have a huge collection. anyone been there? agghh... running late liao. wife's chauffeur. gotta pick her up from work laters then when i continue with my lightings story so wait for it WHY THIS POSTING SO MANY SO AH
  21. ooohhh... please tell her that is gonna be very very nice. very condoish i tell you. i know cause the 3d drawings are out! hahaha Hafary is just orgy. I dropped by soo bee huat at toh guan to convince my choice for my living room white tiles and i gotta tell you, that's MASS ORGY! yes, luxurious and expensive wannabe it will be for sure. ha
  22. entire feature wall? tat's gonna be ex! ha mine is jus partial only though
  23. allan is no longer at KLP, he's over at united sq though. but then how much cheaper i wouldnt know.. but am sure they can match
  24. for me, i combed balestier like mad liao. jln besar so far only went in to poh seng. hmm better comb 1 round of jln besar before my shopping on sat ok, will take a look at A-lighting too. so far, balestier side yet to catch my fancy. sorry read too fast and too many blogs, did you mention where it is located? will pm you for the pricing if you dont mind ya
