Hi Mace, Thanks for posting the pic. I got the esaver liao. However, my contractor have up the switch for my fan. Maybe I didn't tell him before hand that i want a timer and not a switch with plug. But I told him just now, so I expect to pull out the plug, take out the 13A socket and put up the timer for me.

W to Crown Lighting last week at 600 Geylang (ard Lor 34). The Boss, Davis is very knowledgeable in lighting trades. He even demonstrate what is meant by actual good quality light starter and those cheapo ones recommended by other lighting shops. Overall, bought someclightings from him with some warranty parts covered. Had a good and long conversation with him. You guys can consider his shop cos' his lightings are good quality and will never cheat on you. Price also very reasonable. If you have any lightings in mind, can also tell him. He will try to source for you.

Consistently means keep in writing and do remind him now and then did he do this thing? did he include the quotation to do that thing? did he remember to shift this light point? etc... not eveyday call him lah, else he and I also not free liao leh. haha I mean you just need to check now and then to see whether the things mentioned include or done or not or done correctly. Anyway, I just started, so it's better to keep things in check rather than rectify error made.

Legrand Singapopre I called today, they are selling timer switches needed for bathroom ventilation fan and water stroage heater. It comes in white colour only. Sell at Legrand distributor. Another one is by esaver (see below), It is the Energy Saver, a 20-mins timer that can be installed with together with the lights and the bathroom ventilation fan. This product can be brought from Carrefour, Mustafa and Home-Fix. It is priced at S$18.80.

you seem like a DIY guy anyway, I just called legrand Singapore on the timer switch. They do carry but only white colour. Will be going to Choo Chiang to buy it. But funny leh, all switches silver-grey colour and timer is white. Think will install beside the bathroom tiles instead of outside. colour don't match.

any idea using 2x13W PC downlight (day) for the living room is adequate to use as our main light? Any hard and fast rule on this? I see some reno pic that uses PLC light to light up their house, whereas some use one main light only.
