  2. Aiyo take ur wife as maid! For us, we got our part time maid to come on the day we shift in. So that she can help to clean the furnitures and whatever stuff. So that we can concentrate on unpacking. When the furnitures arrive, we will leave the plastic on. Then when we shift in will open ceremony!

  4. They said acrylic blade more wind.
  5. We finally gave in and bought the KDK AYS11 fan (3 blade), reason is becos it comes with remote and the cheapest so far. Then for living room, husband didnt really like fanco so consider and consider and consider, we finally bought the V56k. Thou it exceeded our budget but it look nice and also with remote. (can see that we are lazy ppl)
  6. good good good Save $$$ where ever we can
  7. Then we went to Everjoint to get our remaining electrical appliances. Didnt take any photos cos the stocks are not there. But I would say that we are very satisfied with what we bought 2day.
  8. As I'm not working today, we left our kids at my inlaws' place and went on to buy whatever we can. Never been spending so much in 1 single day. I guess the next time would be when we shift house again (probably 10 years later). Basin for common toilet Basin for MBR toilet I have also created a blog for my reno journey, husband says just in case...

  13. For kitchen cabinets, we prefer to have 2 different colours, for top and bottom. Mayb u use lighter colour for wk top? For my whole hse lights, 19 downlights + 9 Ts for cove light + 2 toilets light + 1 storeroom light + 2 kitchen light + 1 dining light, we spent $1186 For fans, we haven buy, still looking ard. Thinking of getting the bb kdk (3 blade) from everjoint. Cheapest so far, $159 (incl remote). For living room, maybe from lighting.com.sg $200+
  14. Ya, after the gals have slept. I PM u ok? My track is 1m, but now dunno can install or not. Cos as my kitchen is small, the distance from my stove to the tall height cabinet is just 1m. That was the original place i want to install but didnt measure properly then i went PC show to buy. (my 1 impulse buying) So u must measure and plan ur kitchen properly then buy. For my 1m track, can put in 12 adaptor. Yes u are right abt just plugging in and use. Hope I right! Ask ossify, he also bought but his is customised. Go to www.eubiq.com.sg.
  15. Didnt go jln bersah branch before, so cant comment. The 1 at balestier is opp SPC petrol kiosk, there is also some construction of Zhong Shan building or something.
  16. We like playing hide and seek. Answered u at 15May's t blog and saw u here in mine. U know what, i went to the 1st light shop, quoted me 1 light for storerm, $21+. (still got discount). Then went to lighting.com.sg, they quoted me for $10. Grabbed ah! Thou 1st shop got discount but still definitely not $10!!!!
  17. Only study table lights each. No other lights. We tot rooms normally for sleeping, the study lights will be used for studying. When they play or do other things shd be enuf. No formula for me, the no of lights is suggested by my id.
  18. The downlight which i bought. 2 x 18w
  19. I bought it at PC show, its a track that connects to ur original wall power socket. The wall power socket is concealed. Then from the adaptor u put on the track, can plug in ur appliances. It safe for kids as they might poke their tiny fingers into the wall socket but with the eubiq, its kind of seal and cant put in our fingers. Also look neater. The track that i bought, SH1 The power adaptor, bought 2 Another 2 more adaptor I didnt buy many adaptors, afraid that if dun use, it will be waste of money. Homefix also sells them, can go there and take a look. Go to the outlet at Marina Sq.
  20. Every1 has their own prefer design and taste. No worries.
  21. Went back to the light shop and ordered our dining light. Hope it will look nice in our new kitchen. The lady who served us is very nice, waited patiently while we go front and forth to decide. She knew that we are rushing for time on Fri, so told us to take photos of the lights we like and then go home and consider. Not my 1st choice but its easier to clean as compared to my 1st choice.
  22. so chiao. Mine too, 2 x 13, cool white.
  23. Wah! 8 per room? Like that wont the cost go up? The installation of the point + the purchase of the lights. I have 19 in total. Living room - 5 downlight + cove light MBR - 4 downlight + cove light at headboard Gals room - 5 downlight Study - 3 cove light
