Just curious, and so I decided to start this thread : - How many of your kids at age of 8 this year does not go to student care and be at home with less adult supervising. Meaning, this kid go to school & back home all by herself. Food is prepare with warmer heat up. One of the parent will be at home some of the days depending on the working schedule. Home tuitor will be there to guide her on every twice a week during evening time. And this kid is in afternoon session. Ok, I'm actually referring to my girl. My hubby and I had this in mind that she will not be going to student care after we move to our new house. My girl agrees to it also and she is able to help fetch her younger sister home in the evening time too. (3 mins walk to the pri sch) Just wondering, are we right to do this? Or better to send her to student care? Sounds silly to ask this question thou

tubecreamer : Went to view 2 unit in Serangoon North Ave 4. One of the unit it's living room is a long type, dining area is near to the kitchen but only 3 br in upper level. Another one looks like mine, L shape structure - living hall is small with 4br.. We nearly got this but the val is not out at that time and the owner wants to sell it at 560k & she wants to stay for 3 months FREE. (ends up, val 490k during the day we signed OTP with Hougang EM)

Sorry, out of the topic : - I see many of you move in after the 1st appt but before the 2nd appt, how come both my agents never mentioned this can be done when we requested to move in earlier? If this can be done, they should do their part by asking both our buyer and seller to see if they agree or not right? Or this has all to be done only during our 1st appt? But I thought they have to let 3 parties aware before 1st appt?

We hope to have only minor reno since we pay so much for the COV and it's move in condition. However, after knowing this forum, I fall in love with all white theme concept. To have white theme, we need to hack many things away & replace with the new ones. My hubby wants to see if spraying on the cabinets can work or not. I'm going to have something similar to what weiwei had mentioned - whole kitchen cabinet in pearl white & living hall tv feature wall & console, even the shoe cabinet will be all in white. Only for furnitures like Sofa, dining table, coffee table OR mini bar will not be having white.

Hi blueblue_m6, it's located at Hougang Ave 10. The COV is over 55k and it's 18 years old unit. I thought this type of EM is the smallest among the 3 EM layout. Initially, I'm not looking for this as I feel that the living hall is too small & it's divided into 2 (Living hall N Dining area). But after viewing this unit, both my hubby and myself like fall in love with it (in the first sight) and we totally forgotten what we want initially. Now, I'm kinda regret
