Hi all, I am looking for wash basins and wc for 2 bathrooms. Anybody know where to get Toto products at a reasonable price? Or any comparable brands to recommend? I went to see Duravit, very but VERY expensive also. How about America Standard or Ideal Standard? Are they good? Appreciate your help

Hi all, I've just gotten my new 4-room flat. The bomb shelter is along the corridor/walkway, besides is the common bathroom, and opposite are 2 berdrooms. What can I do to hide the ugly door of the bomb shelter, besides doing a featured wall to cover it? Not so keen on featured walk along the corridor coz it will make the walkway more narrow. Anyone has any idea/pics to share? Thanks a million! Cheers

Hi frezhman, can I check with you whether the Bosch washing machine has any 'legs' or base? I am very keen to get the 24444ME but I am going to put the machine in the service yard and I will not be doing any window over there, maybe just put a blind. So am worried during heavy rain, the service yard floor will get wet and water will sip underneath the washing machine and spoil it. So now I have to consider whether I need to do a base for the Bosch washing machine. Do you think you can advise me?

I have frds that commented I spend so much on such stuff... But it's smthing that's gonna be fixed and used everyday...so i rather spend more on such fixtures than on sofa...dunno, just my personal thought lor...

I've gotten a brand new HDB flat and am thinking of changing the wash basins/taps and getting a good shower set for the master bedroom and the common bathroom. My friends recommended me brands like Hansgrohe, Grohe, Toto and few other European brands. Definitely they look sleek/cool and I have no doubt about the quality but I am also concern with the prices. After going through this forum, I also realised that there are the non-branded ones selling at Jalan Besar, Balestier and Geylang. So now I am wondering, which is better in terms of quality? Are they comparable? And are the prices very different? Or should I do a mix & match ie get some branded ones and some non-branded ones? Hope somebody can share some info or give some advise. Thanks!
