Hi all, I need a little advise from all of you. I know it is not good to put mirror in front of the bed. In my new place, I will be building a sliding door wardrobe BESIDES my bed. There're 2 mirrors on the sliding door, ard 60cm each. And each piece of mirror is at the extreme end of the wardrobe, facing the side of the bed. The other side of the bed is windows. Is it ok to have mirrors like this in the bedroom, facing the side of the bed at both ends? Will appreciate your advise! Cheers

Top mount meaning the current sink just sit on the table top? If thats the case can. Just get those that's within your vanity top dimension. But if those semi-recess ones will be abit difficult. Coz you will need to get back the same shape or change the vanity top if i am not wrong.

Hi all, I wanna get a TV for my living room, ard 40-42'. Initially am quite keen to get LED tv but am abit put off by the reflective screen, only edge LED and the price. So have decided to get LCD. The HN staff recommended me Hitachi L42N03A, hard panel. Anybody has used this or heard of any review on this? Will appreciate your advise

Hi all, Was at HN just now. Initially I wanted to get those off the shelf theatre system like Sony/LG type with player. But the sales staff told me it's better to get individual items coz if the player spoilt etc, can just change the player. So they recommended me to brands like Onkyo and Jamo. After trying the sound and visual, pretty like it. Am at entry level, so not very well-verse with all the technical terms etc. But I do have a tight budget like $1.5k. Do all of you think I can get a decent system with this kind of budget, including cables? HN recommended me Onkyo 607 for receiver and Jamo A102 for speaker, altog at $1.4k. You think this is reasonable? Or I should get from Adelphi instead? Will really appreciate your advise.

I tried loading the floorplan but failed... It's along the corridor, with the common toilet besides it. On the other side of the corridor are 2 bedrooms. The corridor is around 1 meter wide. Any idea what I can do besides doing a featured wall?

Hi all, I've bought a set of rainshower for my new hdb flat at the mbr. But now I've to decide what heater to install. I'm not keen to use storage tank at all. How about Rinnai central gas heater from Citygas? Is it powerful enough for rainshower? The Citygas guy came to my place and told me where I can install the heater, which will be at the service yard. Anybody has used this? Kindly share with me your comments (is it safe? noisy? etc...) on this heater ok, thanks alot! Cheers

I also initially wanted to get the 7kg Bosch. But I went to HN and the staff demo to me the 7kg WM, there's a sharp screeching sound when the machine was top spin speed. Whereas the 8kg, it was very silent, maybe due to the EcoSilent feature in that machine. So I've decided to get the 8kg one coz really cannot stand that sound.
