  1. After some of the research, I found out that most of the glass door hinge are pretty standard in term of dimension, especially the screw hole size. They are available in the neighborhood hardware shop, at least 3x shops that i'd found that. But, for those who wanted to DIY, bear in mind that you'll need some skill and lots of strength for this job. You'll need at least 2 strong person to do this too. Anyway, I found a contractor (Carousell: simplysell) to do the job for me. I would rate it as job well done at good charge. I'm neither promoting his service nor related to him/his business, just wanted to share some of the information after my case.
  2. The glass door hinge in my wc need to be replaced. Any contractor to recommend? Any shop has good quality of glass door hinge that I can purchase, if I wanted to DIY??
  3. Hi all, I was introduced to this Panasonic Inverter System 4, configuration of 3x9k BTU & 1x18k BTU. But, I don't seems to find any information on the web or Panasonic website. Wonder anybody is using this one, and any view/feedback? Thank you in advance.
  4. Hi, I'm no expert. From the information that I'd gather, what you said is true. It depends on your usage, if you're using the aircond. like 3-4 hr nightly, I believe non-inverter would be good enough taking account of the price difference. Another consideration point may be non-inverter are generally using R22, which you might want to read up this http://singapore-aircon-r410a.blogspot.com/ It depends on your situation and objectives, if it's a brand new installation (new piping), personally I would request for R410 piping and you may still run non-inverter (R22) on it (i was told it's possible). Just my 2 cents.
  5. Based on the information I'd collected, it's due to the higher pressure of R410. Thus, it required thicker and bigger pipe for the R410. Those pipe used by R22 are generally too thin and cannot sustain the pressure of R410.
  6. The reason why i'm doing it is because i don't wish to change the piping as renovation just done abt a year ago.... Given a choice, i would go for the R410 and I don't need to search high and low.... I thought the r22 will only be phase out by 2016?
  7. Anybody purchase a Mitsubishi Non Inverter System 1 & System3 recently? What's the quote like? I found out that Gaincity is not carrying any R22 Non-inverter Mitsubishi system anymore. Is there other recommended place to purchase the unit?
  8. Hi all, Wonder anybody has experiences with this or any information about to do this and the sum involve? I was quoted if I need to do a full redemption, there are accrued interest, interest in-lieu to be paid off in addition to the 2% penalty (pre-payment) fee. Would anybody or best any banker would be able to advice on this matter? Thanks a million!
  9. Look for a carpenter, for what I know, the laminates can be changed. But, not sure the charges....whether worth it or not...maybe a important consideration.... Good luck!
  10. COV drop? OR stabilised? OR take a break? Is transaction value going up? :dunno:
  11. Anybody have any feedback on the cooker hob & hood of EF?
  12. Is the height of this not a problem to be installed in HDB? I was advised by the JB shop not to purchase this as it violated the rule. How abt Panasonics Fan?
