No other drastic changes since last renovation, except I have the usual habit of moving furniture around for Qi activation. My 3 sons are doing well; eldest son is in the direct marketing as Asst Branch Mgr; 2nd son is in a shipyard as Project Engineer (acting Project Mgr on project); and youngest son wiill ORD in few months! It is my interest/hobby though. You question is: What is the effect and purpose of activiating the Sun star? Answer: Imagine if you accidentally activated the wrong sector with the bad energy in 2013. This bad energy will manifest and reside in the house for the whole of the year. Hence, activiating the Sun sector (S2) on a good date will overcome and give lesser effect the inflicted bad energy which you stirred up!

From consumer point of view, whenever there is 'clashing' or 'negative' energy, we don't want to activate it. During Chinese New Year, we do celebrations, making noises, partying, and so on....and these 'yang' activities happened to fall on 'inauspcicious' days. Anyway, from tomorrow, the Month Earthy Branch will move from Tiger to Rabbit, at least the Rabbit does not have any 'destructive or clasing' relationship with the Snake in the Year Branch.
