Totally agreed with you. The bad will come sooner or later because that negative energy is not cured! As for facing, some HDB / condo really have confusing facing that a layman cannot even tell exactly where the building is supposed to build to face. Have you come across such building/apartment? How would you take facing?

Found this piece of photograph in my album showing the 4 bedrooms. There is a false ceiling to close up the beam and you can see a downlight installed in the middle of the walkway to the bedrooms.

The Extreme Makeover Series - Before & After Photographs: The Dining Area Before the makeover: An oblong table with 4 chairs. Hi, CoffeeMan Virtual Pool is virtual water, and playground and intersection of busy walkways have Yang energy where we can tap. Bedrooms facing each other - I have a downlight placed in the walkway. Take readings once only, from the centre of the house. So, always take the base house chart when demarcating the rooms.

In BaZi chart analysis, probably yes - use wood to control earth elements. But in feng shui, we do not want to counter the element. If star 5 is present, like my East sector bedroom in current year, I placed lots of metal objects to weaken the Earth element of star 5 instead.

What I can say is this: if do wrongly, then yield nothing! That's why there are people who seek feng shui audit but still end up in status quo - nothing gain / nothing improved! Of course, we have also heard of people who met misfortune & accidents once they audit the house!!! A case of wrong house chart & activation done wrongly! But in most cases, especially DIY cases, do wrongly and get no results. Then, in such situation, fsm will not use flying stars house chart when facing is confusing. Most probably they will ask you to use the annual flying star chart instead, or 8 house mansion theory.

There is also free shuttle bus from IBP to & fro IMM during lunch hour. Shuttle bus from JE MRT to IBP operates daily in the morning, lunch hour and in the evening...at 40 cents per trip. Not sure of the schedule as I walk to work daily. Only once in a while when I need to do banking / errand in JE then I take the shuttle bus. Otherwise, no point of paying 80 cents to & fro IBP & JE for lunch, and no aircon! That's why the IMM free shuttle bus is always very crowded!

If you visit Lilian Too's & Joey Yap's article (Q&A section), you will find both masters, although graduate from same sifu YCH, have different opinions & methods when comes to determine the facing & period of house. Then, it usually ended up with fsm asking you questions to figure out past events in the house...acid tests can determine such controversies. This is how I conclude the chart for my own home and accept the current audit report by this master.

Not necessary all will ended up with health problems. Check the flying stars chart of the house for the affected sector. If there is star 2 or star 5, and visiting annual bad stars, poison arrows like electrical pylon, sharp roof, pointed poles, etc, then that area will be negatively affected. Not so much on trees facing windows...unless that huge tall tree is 'botak'. For HDB/condo, any good or bad effects will be 'shared' by the whole building of home owners.

Hi, BB Another controversy is the period of property. Some masters will take the year of built or the date when first occupants who occupied the place. For HDB/condo, it is the year of completion or first household who moved in. Like my house, it is a period 6 chart, but current fsm plotted the period 8 chart after considering we have renovated the place & have physically moved out the house for more than 8 weeks! Of course, there is no harm having 2 different sets of house charts & we cure the bad sectors of both charts.

I just learnt that the Taiwanese Fsm placed the lions in such formation so that both cannot run away! They will be forever there watching over & protecting the main entrance.

On taking measurements, based on what I have acquired the knowledge, we only take measurement once Only at the main door & once at the centre of the house to plot the flying star chart. The same apply to the Hexagram 64 Gua readings. 2. On how to determine the facing direction of unit, this subject is controversial issue & I have sometimes confused myself too. I learnt feng shui from 2 different masters, seek consultations from few different masters & they have different opinion when comes to deciding on unit or building facing. You can visit my reno t-blog where I am caught in a dilemma on house facing for my very own home ( think it is mentioned in page 15). As written in my blog, I was first exposed to fs & learnt directly from Joey Yap. He taught us to take the facing which is more Yang, more windows opening, or the facade where apartment is built to face, from the lift lobby of condo, etc. Then, there are masters who takes house Main door as Qi mouth, and some even consider different storey with different method of plotting the house chart. Confusing indeed!

The electrician came last Monday to install the Earth wire to the gas pipe. This is also another reason why the last schedule for PE inspection was called off at the very last minute. Now, I have to call ID to get the painter back to touch up the trunking.... I am glad that I did the right thing by getting the whole house electrical installation to be certified by PE.

I bought the Lucia brand WC from Excel Asia. An Italian brand but probably made in China! Don't buy those WC with cover plate which closes down slowly & automatically type. Your tenant may not have the patience to wait for the cover plate to close down slowly. They might push the cover violently & spoilt the closing mechanism.
