yep, my contractor dissuaded us from laminate flooring too.. citing the 'water issue'. And yes.. MOST of the things are now made in China, isn't it.. even for European/US/Japane brands? Nowsdays, its really difficult to avoid MIC products all together LOL

hi, u mean parquet or bamboo flooring? Dun think so, as it is out of my budget.. =( On hindsight, I do agree with Bluefly & khengjoo to certain extend. Guess I will just go with Vista flooring (as provided by my contractor) I don't have a reason strong enough to make me pay more for 'more branded' names like Pergo or Kronotex.. What matters more is how well we take care of our flooring after it's done. =) (i work in seagate btw. haha)

Thanks for the advice gnolard. We decided to keep the mirror in the end as my WTB really likes it alot. And my father-in-law whom knows sth abt FS, commented the mirror is fine. Anyway, we'll be doing curtains for the living hall windows. I will hang a bagua mirror outside the window too, just to play safe =P Dun think the glaze from our mirror will cause a disturbance to other ppl as the nearest block is quite a distance away. =)

Hiya, Anyone using Vista Laminate Flooring? Encountered any issues after installation? My contractor let us choose from samples from Power Dekor and Vista.. so I suppose their price range is similar. Or is the quality of Power Dekor better than Vista? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, The resale flat we bought had a full wall-height mirror installed in the living room, facing the windows. I heard that its not good to have the mirror reflecting other houses (in opp blk), as it may invite 'unclean' stuffs. Is it true? Any way we can avert that if we keep the mirror? Thanks alot!
