Cantona's place is *beyond words* , really really worth. too bad we cannot click with dave as he is quite *proud and self-assured* of his designs (not that he isn't good) and we had ideas of our own..otherwise we would have gotten dave to do up our place also as usual, the yik-yakking was really really fun! we also went to 2 other homes in the cluster..... both say *minimal renovation*, but open the door and WOW nice nice places as well

think may be crowded but worse is weekend evenings. really queue very long to go into the carpark. afternoon should be fine though. not sure where is a good place, can try the main taxi stand but may be crowded with taxis. but then sometimes is alot of people queueing but cabs not too much. may be able to pick and go. another place is the other side of compasspoint, 7-11, UOB Bank there, walk all the way straight out towards the road. There is another waiting bay where got cars parked at the side. anyway gendon, will you be shopping with us? or just pick apple and blu at compasspoint then go already? Not too sure what your plan is If you are shopping with us, maybe you can arrange with apple and blu the timing and place to pick them to compasspoint, think we all meet up at compasspoint easier. No need to convoy to compasspoint i think..hehe But if you are not joining the shopping, then maybe you can pick apple and blu wherever most convenient for you and we be there as well with Val to convoy together to JW

gendon- Lets meet at the dustbin (under 297A), directly facing the carpark entrance. You can stop your car there for awhile. Apple, blu meet at void deck (near dustbin) at 12.45pm? We will all go compasspoint together, in 2 cars Val - Meet all of us at compasspoint at 1pm?

shioks... quite some time never go BKK liao... i miss the food and esp the mango sticky rice at Bak Kun Mae or something near Novotel Siam Sq...yum yum... but sure got alot of nice places to eat in BKK...... stomach hungry liao...going to Sungei Road eat laksa now

if we go there, we get u this, put in your living room..hehe actually u think of it, once we are out of singapore...NOT SAFE liao... Europe can get robbed/pickpocketed... America also can get mugged..... Hong Kong scared the Gu Wak Zai Taiwan scared the Tai Ke Japan scared the yakuza...hehe Even nearby JB....also scared liao.... In fact, open our door step into the streets of Singapore, scared of Ah Bengs...lol...just kidding..hehe PARANOID LIAO..nowhere is safe....hehehe But Japan really good place to bring folks, people there more cultured, tolerant and very polite towards the elderly.

actually hor.... before we went paris/london also heard many horror stories about being robbed/bags slit open/pickpocketed by syndicates and so on... but seems ok leh....maybe just stay on the main streets and dun be out too late ba.. similarly about body search...maybe dun wear too *pom pom* like inside wanna smuggle things like that, then probably less prone to genna strip search... oh yah....that reminds me....we were at heathrow...saw them doing body frisking once you trigger the alarm on the scanner/metal detector....once triggered, then you will be brought aside and very thorough search. So we die die wanna siam the detector, every single bit of metal also put in the tray/bags, and that includes coins/watches/keys...anything metallic. the only thing metallic on us were the rings. we figured that they would have a slight tolerance for detecting metal. probably the amount of metal in a ring wouldn't be enough to jeapordize the flight-worthiness of the plane ba.... and true enough, we walked thru without triggering the alarm = no body frisking, no delay, no chance to let them *humiliate* us if they wanted to...if you give them no chance/reason to check you....then you won't add one more horror travel tale

actually we should target USA, 难得 USD exchange rate favourable for us. Now maybe it's our turn to go there and *chirp* around (cheeep cheeep)

apple, now u know why we said that we stopped using it long time back and got a rather unused bottle that you could have taken from us? hehe just find that somehow it creates 2 tones in the stainless steel over time....a darker tone where the oil/dirt got stuck/baked in...and another tone where not as badly affected. and seems like it affects cooking area more obviously, other areas not so affected
