Not all workers r gd! I juz fired the painters! My plastered Walls now become sandstone Walls Liao! **** fed up! Sanitary - I bought from U home n Poh Seng. U home is dishonest n inflexible. Refused to change my water heater! Poh Seng is cheaper so u can order from them. The brand for my basin is from Genova n quality is great! Rest of items r from hafele Germany. I used Hafele items for a few yrs n it's great! Rust free n 1 of the bath mixer is still now being reused! Jerome came to my rescue for the water heater though he asked me to top up $70. I have no other choice but he is prompt n friendly. I cannot comment how gd he is but do not worry abt no shop since is cash on delivery mah. Everjoint is cheap too but I find them unfriendly. Juz hv to make sure that items delivered is in new n in good working condition la.. Take care of yr pocket too...

My water heater piping...Nearly heart attack! I ask plumber to change n wasnt satisfied too... Am I too fussy? Any expert? Y can't plumber shift it to extreme right? Very Sian de...If anyone can give better installation ideas n is a plumber, do suggest n pm me... Another thing, Y should storage tank be hidden inside toilet only? Y can't at some hidden place? I find my contractor had overlooked this issue instead... Sad leh

Welcome to renoblog! I only use Matt tiles for whole house n I am loving it! No sticky feet anymore! Previous Reno was glossy n I felt sticky all the time FYI, my living n bedroom r all cement lookalike tiles...We do have something in common! As for dark bathroom, it's really dark so u have to consider the pros n cons as u have young kid. My twin boys r already 13yrs old n they love orh orh everything with warm light though...

Well, bro mabaricow, after reading your kind warnings, I nagged n reminded my contractor many times! Lol... In the end, he said he had never planned use chemical wash for my place! Anyway, he told me that as my great tilers knew that my black sparkling tiles were main area of issues, they had washed n cleaned up the tiles after each laying. Hence, general washing was a breeze! My taps n sanitary were also fixed up after cleaning... Cleaning was done before carpentry but now my house is so dusty n dirty too! I felt that it's so redundant to wash lor... I have checked n if it's chemical wash, it should be before carpentry. After that then it's general cleaning. However, how many contractors actually wash 2x de?

I had not used besglas doors before but I ordered their alumix wardrobe system. I personally like their service very much I am considering to do PD door for my walk in wardrobe. May I know if it is ok to install on partition wall? I also ordered if the wind is strong, does the door gets banged n flipped open?

My full height black mirror shoe cabinet...We did not use tic-tac doors as we know it spoiled easily n will have alot of fingerprints! Outcome of this is nice... It's that simple....We r going for clean & sleek look for carpentry to compliment my cement lookalike flooring....Nothing fanciful as our wallpaper n decoration is the popping substance! Pls Note - CARPENTER IS SOURCE DIRECTLY I got alot of pms asking for my carpenter contact so I wan to post my quotation here instead so I dun need to reply so many... I got full lump sum which is cheaper than my ID/contractor by 5k! I think pfr about $100... I found 3 - 2 r intro from frens n 1 from my contractor. Actually their quotation is close but I wanna view workmanship b4 I decide who I engage, so this one got the job! So far I got around 13k quote for using white glossy 1mm laminate with internal colored PVC ( my carpenter said it's 色板） 1. 8ft tv console wif feature wall ( fully laminated for interior as well) 2. 6 ft full height shoe cabinet with full black mirror doors 3. 2 sets 8ft suspended study table wif drawers 4. 2sets 5ft full height sliding doors wardrobe with aluminium frame 7. 12ft top n bottom kitchen cabinets 8. 1tall lader kitchen cabinet 9. 2 sets bathroom vanity cupboard with mirrors 10. Relaminate my main door Most importantly, I need to stress, cheap doesn't mean bad n expensive doesn't mean good! So far, I am pleased with the carpentry. I like to highlight that it was outsource as I did not agree to my contractor's contact for carpentry when we signed the quotation. Contractor only did wetworks. We had special request n using some own systems so we need people who can fix them willingly without charges... Well, the problem is the height of the tank.. I am hanging it to the beam at the entrance so if the pipe falls below the beam, then I will see the pipe at the entrance! It's v ugly.. Anyway if $ can solve the issue, then I hv no choice! I top up $70 to a dealer to trade for another brand & model.. Sigh..dun wish to dwell on my heart pain Liao..

Hi, my parents home had used 2 sets of Amasco ceiling fan with regulator - Model AMC -48. They had used it for more than 10years n I like to help them to change a new one. Do I need to change to the same brand? It's fixed on the actual ceiling. If u do carry Amasco AMC 48R, do pm me the price n charges for installation. Tks alot!

I bought some items from a shop from my fren's recommendation. Well, due to some space constraint, my storage water heater could not b installed! I called up the shop to ask for an exchange n offered to pay transportation, well, the shop owner can 'forget', point fingers n also refused to help! The water heater is only $265 which I realized that it's more expensive than others now. To me, that $20-30 more, I treat it as I donated away.. But when someone earns yr $ n leave u in lurch, then I felt disappointed n angry! Hence, pls compare not only prices but customer service as well! No exchange is really unacceptable when it's not stated in the invoice!!!

Now the shops refused to exchange for me so I am thinking to ask anyone for help. I bought it at $265. I dunno if Rinnai willing to exchange for voucher instead as none of their storage water heater can suit me anymore... If u knew any kind soul who is planning to buy Rinnai products n buy my voucher, pls do let me know. Tks alot! My hp is 900 22 330.
