I agree with TPY....1st meeting avoid such touchy topics....wait till everyone's comfortable with each other liao then arrange to meet up 2nd time to talk about wedding stuff. My 1st parents-meet-parents was during our ROM and when we were sitting down having our buffet lunch, my parents and his parents suddenly talked about wedding ping li stuff....u can't imagine how stressed we were and awkward at the table...but luckily everything turned out amicably....but it's good to let each other's side parents know what to expect so that they won't be caught by surprise.

no leh...i think your side nicer...the colour's simple and nice...very soothing.... I just saw that they finished painting one side.....plum with yellow strips in between......ma chiam pesdestrian crossing leh.....how can that colour go with bright yellow?? If die die must yellow, at least mustard yellow would at least go with that colour.....haiz....sianz.....duno how to entire thing will turn out in the end....ma chiam living in circus.....such clash of colours...

I agree with you, somehow the keep-to-the-left-side-of-the-escalator campaign nvr got to all of us.... It's frustrating when u see the train approaching and u know that if you walked down the escalator, u would have a pretty good chance of boarding the train. Your intentions are thwarted by those ppl blocking the way. I find that this happens on the north-south line escalator in raffles place during peak hour but not the escalator leading to the east west train. I don't understand how come there's a trend. Because of this, I've missed the train quite few times.

Ehh....maybe your expectations too high liao...if my bridal shop gives me this kinda layout i will Or maybe because i didn't do any research on album layout so i got no idea...as long as looks ok to me, i chin chai one....hehe.... But yours still good lah....maybe ask bridal shop to just take out the wordings?

Not nice can ask them to redo the layout until you satisfied? My friend used to be a BC bride and they didn't like the album layout too, in the end, my friend told the person how to do this, this one put where etc etc....so i suppose they shd redo for you...

This morning, I just saw that they are now starting to repaint our side of blocks....i almost fainted when i saw the bright yellow strip....it's horrendous....

Come my place eat..breakfast eat chicken noodle, afternoon eat laksa, night eat abalone noodle...all instant one leh....i think i prefer go your place settle my 3 meals....heh heh heh...

Ya just tell me what flavour....abalone, laksa, prawn, chicken, xo sauce...even korean spicy cabbage one i also can provide....but all uncooked....cos i figured if cook liao then bring over to phantom's house, all the mee nua nua already not nice...so go phantom's house cook.

Actually for me, as my parents don't drink liquor, they requested to be subsituted with 2 bottle of yomeishu...more practical cos my dad drinks it...but these need to be exchanged with orange juice from bride's side....duno what it is for...

hmm....then this kinda behaviour is totally unacceptable...unfortunately, many ppl always chiong in first before allowing others to alight so this resulted in the kind of behaviour where alighting passengers often elbow the ppl standing at the train door waiting to go in....even those good hearted ones who allow others to alight first also kena elbowed.......so pi s sed with these ppl....

Ya lor...i suggested that to my hubby...cos we bought our xmas tree just 2 weeks ago just in time for xmas....then spent time decorating it....then now so fast must keep liao very wasted leh....keep the tree there but replace with ang baos and ong lais lor... i think that would be something new.....hahahahaha...

Any house will look empty without the furnitures and furnishings...once you had your dining table and sofa shifted in and your curtains up, your whole house will feel different...it's the soft finishings like paintings, vases etc that completes the look...so take your time....a whole house full of carpentry will still look empty wihtout these additional decor Ahahahhaha.......u very funny sia....

ehh mine only 2sqm bigger than yours nia leh.... Ya my suggestion is not to have so many build-ins....nowadays, furniture shops carry really cool looking stuff too...also, accessories can help a lot in making a house feel like a home....
