Am curious to know too. Ive stayed in my current flat in Woodlands for 18 years. Thinking of renovating my whole flat again and avoid the mistakes done during my first renovation. I ever asked a renovation company before and he said it will take at least 1 month to complete the job. A friend of mine done it before. He advised to find a temporary lodging and transfer all the household furniture and necessary items to a rented warehouse storage. He did the whole house renovation after more than 30 years. I don't intend to look for a new flat and renovating my flat again is better option. I just waiting for my kitchen cabinet to break down and then I will consider. It is important to do re-wiring again and replace the toilet bowl. Hope for some input from members here.

My son was trapped since 4.30 pm and managed to come out about 8.15 pm. I managed to knock down the door knob but the bolt cannot be pulled out. I have no choice but to chisel the door to expose it and pulled it out. I tried to push the door but cannot as my door frame is made of metal. Yes, I was panicked as my main intention is to get him out as soon as possible for him to break his fast during this fasting month. To members here, do change the door knob if you found sign and symptom that it is going to give way. I used it since 1996 and am now going to change all the bedroom door knob irregardless whether it is still in working condition. Need some ideas from members with same experienced on what I am going to do with this door.

Hi members, Recently, my son was trapped in one of the bedroom. The door knob was jammed and unable to turn. I have no choice but to break the door knob and some part of the door. Anyone know an alternative way to repair my door, other than changing it. I also need a door repairer or any other ideas for my door. Thank you.

Hi members, I have not painted my 5 rooms flat at Woodlands eversince my contractor did it during renovation in 1996. I was thinking of painting my whole house this year but unable to decide whether to DIY or engage a contractor. I am 45 years old and don't know whether I still have the energy for such job. I was skeptical on engaging a painter as I had seen my neighbour house painted by them and leaving lots of messed. Anyone here with experience painting a 5 rooms flat could give me a tips and advice for me. Thank you.
