  4. Hi piknik, yeah i plan to have it done. You read it from "Digital Lock" thread I have a free gift that using Wireless or LAN for CCTV im not sure am i able to mount it outside the door. Initially i plan to have it inside the house instead~ I can post up some pictures tonight for your references~

  9. Hi ken4228, So for item1. He charges me wrongly. or think im a carrot head For item 2. single and double socket mostly are based on standard switches. Only those 1 gang/2..3 are fanciful but i dont think it cost $300 for getting all socket and switches from him. Most probably i will op out the $300 and go CCM to get my switch n gang. Any installation will be charge if i provide my own switches? Is my quote too exp?

Install lightings 6 in nos $10 $60 Grand Total $2,585 Two questions.... 1) i only have 15 downlights, the calculations should be $30 x 15pcs = $450 (new points) then to install 15pcs downlights should it be extra $10 x 15= $150?? 2) Install 13Amps power points 17 in nos for $45 normally do they comes with switches? Mine doesn't comes with it. I have to change whole house switches for extra $300

Kitchen wall can be hack away create the spacious feel Plan at least 4-6ft island with either sink or top hang hood would be awesome I alwiz wanted an island fr my kitchen but after measurement for my walking space at my kitchen is way too small (Bigger size ppl woul have difficulties on walking towards the island) Island would be a great choice for gathering and quick bite Waiting for your 3 design/ scatch from you Cheers!

  14. Back from business trip again.. Pop down our house and take a glace...hmm.. nothing much being done... Was expecting the tiles are all up by now~ Work Progress: Week 1: 4 days for tearing down the woodwork + wardrobe + L box... Week 2: 4 days for hacking and clear debris + Aircon trucking Week 3: 3 days MBR and Common toilet water proofing done. Tiles partially done for MBR (Till date-18/1/12) This is consider slow? i have no idea... Here some pictures for some updates hehe More sands.... Hmm aircon trunking seems running the wrong direction....i though it should be facing below the feature wall instead... This location is blowing towards the main door....

  17. Guys after hacking and tiling, whats next to be done? Electrical first? False Ceiling first? or Carpentry first? Usually how long it take to put up the kitchen cabinet and other woodwork? Shoerach, TV feature wall, kitchen cabinet, MBR Wardrobe..

Aircon Trunking Done (Something is not right~) These 2 pictures below doesnt seems right...the Aircon Gas Pipe? run straight across my MBR Ceiling? as the contractor told me that running big & fat trunking besides the edges will ruin the aesthetic of my design hmmm.. Hihi piknik, I browse through some reno t-blog page and notice some of them are using Hitachi top load washing machine too~ (i spotted it by looking at the "pink" lid~ I wonder Hitachi giving higher profit margin to the company or its really worth the penny you spend on their technology~ Till date ~..i still prefer Panasonic~ maybe im too obsessed but no choice sometime the mindset to go change a little to accommodate the new chances and technology
