  1. Hi, Thought i share my experience as i just took delivery of my Sofa on 18 Jun. I went to a couple of places so share my experience and ultimately what i decided on disclaimer : I am not related to any of them 1) Univonna (went to the largest showroom at Sungei Kadut Way) Sofa was decent, Price was very attractive and they are modular. Meaning you can mix and match, L-shape, middle console table etc) Comfort was decent to me. The sales person was friendly. I nearly bought from them but wanted to try others. The sofa are assemble in Singapore so chances of a delivery delay seems less likely than say a sofa manufactured in China 2) Lorenzo (went to HQ) Salesman was chatting among themselves (no issue for me since i was scouting). I am using Lorenzo at my current parents place. Sofa been around for 10 years and still looks great. Comfort i felt its too "hard" for me. So when i went there to test out, was not impressed. Price is slightly higher than Univonna = 3) Celini (went to suntec) Nothing much on display that captured my attention so no comments 4) Stressless (313 sommerset) Gosh i melted in them! I chanced upon them and wanted to try for myself what all those rave was about. Price is a 5 figure tag minimium for sofa. 4 months to make and send to you. Out of budget so no it was more of an experience. 5) Cheers Sofa (Funan) I actually loved one of their sofa and its priced quite decently for the comfor tand showroom built. However, do note that the prices are for the showroom piece (some may not like) and they are limited in colours. Most i saw was brown which i really disliked. So to make one to your liking, prices are different. But what turn me off was bad press from this forum and other forums where comments and arguments between an unhappy customer and salesman made me decided its not worth the risk. Personally, i had no issue with their salesman so i was just being cautious from the feedback here. Final choice 5)Domicil Eventually bought my sofa from Domicil. German brand bought over by HTL. Sofa are china made. I tested and found one that i really liked the comfort level. Felt luxurious. They hae a mix from what i felt was decent pricing to high pricing depending on your pocket and taste. Salesman was excellent, non pushy. Delivery was on time, quick and smooth. I just SMS the sales person who tended to me on my delivery date, its done. No chasing, no headache. I bought a off the rack sofa so i could take delivery immediately if i wanted. For those who wants to custom make, 4mths wait but they do loan you a sofa in the meantime. Hope this helps Great salesman, great sofas.
  2. Anyone seen a similar mirror like this?
  3. This is quite worrying for me. I am actually planning to get a Bosch washing machine (made in germany model) for my new place this weekend. After reading the posts, i am a little shaken if i should change my mind espicially there are specific complains on WM. Though i agree with Terry that not only Bosch has issues with after service, but this does not change the fact there is an apparant problem with the after service for Bosch. Lastly, i am quite impress with Terry taking the effort to help out here.
  4. I saw a sofa (3k+) that my wife and i really liked. As per my personal policy, i will always come home, do a search to see if i can find anything about this company. So viola, saw a thread at hardwarezone and here, end up getting something from Domicil. thanks for the heads up.
