Same as me IKEA as temporary stuff. I do not plan to do built-in for MBR. Some funds will be spent on dividing the kitchen and the laundry area.

That was what i wanted. Hubby dislikes the idea of shower curtain as he thinks that the curtain will be moldy after awhile. He said that after shower, he needs to 'shower' the curtain too! LOL.. Have you used that before? Can show me the picture of your kitchen?

I really like the way they did the MBR toilet! I was still wondering how to fit in a shower screen. Seems like the one they did was a partial one. And they also box up all the sewage pipes! Is that legal?

I like your living room pendant light! I was thinking to use something similar for my MBR, as i want to save cost by not doing L box / false ceiling in MBR. But wonder whether is it bright enough to use as a main light?

If you do not have lots of stuff, maybe you can consider getting the bottom kitchen cabinet only - to achieve the minimalist look - like the picture you showed. Your kitchen will definitely look more spacious. Agree with Ken4228, all the kettles, rice cooker will definitely spoil that look. Must be very hardworking to keep everything in place.
