Just moved in last Friday .. over the weekend was busy with unpacking and house cleaning. Saturday went to Tampines Round Market to purchase some cleaning tools to clean the cabinets etc before unpacking, also went to Ikea and Courts to purchase some boxes, containers, vacuum cleaner and electrical kettle. Husband was busy on assembly furniture stuffs bought from Ikea, sister helping to do some cleaning while I just on and off helping on unpacking ... going to 9 mths pregnancy, have to rest. deviansyh, so far the items I received are ok .. but all also depend on the suppliers who selling you the items. I still have 1 parcel on the way to Singapore. Hope they will be fine too. ...

We bought the white LED downlights. I guess my mailbox is full, i.e. unable to receive the PM .. just clear my mailbox.

Some snapshots taken last night before move-in .. renovation almost 90% done. Still have some touch-up works need to carry on, such as box-up, painting touch-up etc. Think will be quite busy for the next few weeks of unpacking stuffs, so many things to do More pics @ here .

The balcony sliding door is bottom hang. The color is white although picture showed dark color .. Dark color is the protection cover, will remove once Reno is done. I prefer light color ☆〜（ゝ。∂）

Sharing some pics taken by husband last night .. most of the lightings are done, carpentry works also almost 80% done. Husband also tested the rain shower flow and it was working ok : ) Painting works still ongoing, dunno why the contractor so slow .. he only send one person for painting, and they are not using ICI or Nippon paints. Today ppls from Doctor Door and Kompactop will come down to install the glass doors, shower screen and kitchen table work top.

wowach, I also spent around 20k for non-reno items .. I also bought beds from beds.sg. Just try to keep track of what you have purchased with the budget you have .. For us, we managed to play within 18K for all the non-reno items including sink, tap those bathroom and kitchen accessories, electrical appliances, furnitures, decor stuffs, curtains, household stuffs etc. While for reno items, it's something we cannot control .. coz will depend on what the contractor quoted us, sigh. The only way to control the reno cost is either remove the item or replace with something else which might not be what we want Agreed with barcadibreezer, I bought most of my lightings and celing fans from JB .. have spent total around S$1.7k. But unfortunately, some of the lightings we like cannot be found in JB. So I ordered 2 lightings from taobao, still waiting for them to deliver to singapore ... the shipping fee already more than 100 bucks for about 40kg stuff. Overall, still cheaper than buying in Singapore

Thanks Batman ~ it's original from previous owner. We saw it looked good in term of quality and feel that shall not wasted. So just change the color to suit our theme. I have to return the current unit to new owner by tomorrow, I am doing selling and buying at the same period Have extra cash to do reno because of selling my current unit, but also finished used up all our cash proceed after paying 2 agent fees, COV, 5% cash downpayment and reno cost. Sure, will share more pics ~ 1000miles, all the best .. just next Monday only, so fast.

barcadibreezer, haha .. I not sure coz my living hall also facing the playground : ) I guess there are many playgrounds in this neighbourhood area and may be many renovations going on. You may pm me for the block # if want to know .. haha. Your condo management? So you are staying in a condo now and downgrade to hdb ?

The ceiling fan being painted by my husband, original from previous owner and we just changed the color from dark brown to white color. Hope the new color will match with our theme ~

Btw, your house original condition is not as bad as what you mentioned ... it looked quite nice instead.

barcadibreezer, so excited with your new place ~ we are moving to the same neighbourhood on the same week, what's a coincidence! My reno is still under progress, probably still left with 10% hasn't done .. yours are really 100% complete ~ Looking forward to see more pictures with your furnitures move in ~ Btw, there is another neighbour living same floor with me is doing renovation right now .. they are just started one week later than us, so I guess theirs will be finished very soon too and they even hacked their flooring.

These few nights husband was busy on packing stuffs at current house, while I just rest on the bed and seeing him busy I was more than 34wks of pregnancy now, didn't want to stress my baby ... This friday is going to move to new place, think the reno progress cannot finish by tomorrow ...

Week IV renovation – Last week has started some carpentry works, the bar counter and kitchen cabinets are installed. The contractor also started to install L-box, lay flooring with laminate at study room, install those copper pipings, bathroom accessories, toilet bowls, taps & basins, rain shower set, hand spray tap etc. at bathrooms. Aircon also done the re-trunking, existing parquet flooring are resand and revarnished. Doctor Door also come to install the sliding doors for balcony and bi-fold door for study room. This week will be the last week of renovation .. Hope all the remaining items can be completed by Thursday ~

Just prepared to do a lot of follow-ups if you engage our contractor, to make sure things are not screw up Forgot to answer your question regarding how to cool the walk in wardrobe .. - If we didn't on aircon inside the bedroom, then we can open the small window inside the WIW. - If on aircon, then no issue coz no door on the WIW.
