  1. ID special price which I was told cannot share. But it is really a lot cheaper. And it is by per foot run, not psf.
  2. My dry kitchen is caesarstone quartz and I paid cheaper than granite
  3. The wet kitchen tiles look rough. Have you tried stepping to make sure you are comfortable? Anyway, tiles look very swee!
  4. For a moment, I thought your toilet has gold fittings
  5. 60K for 1 toilet and 2 wardrobes!? Are you sure? That sounds very, VERY expensive!
  6. Thought this is quite an sop? Mine came with these valve taps without me asking.
  7. Argh, my fridge cannot open fully! As a result, the fruit and vegetables drawer can only open halfway before hitting the fridge door. What a bummer My fridge is only 760mm wide. I'd thought the fridge cavity at 900mm is wide enough.. Didn't expect the fridge door must open wide wide de.
  8. Ok start with this swee swee picture My hand, after single handedly cleaning the house over 2 days. Even though there was cleaning done before handover, I'd still wanted to make sure it's cleaned to my standard But the cleaners did get rid of all the stubborn stains and paint marks, which sorta made it easier for me. So tired I can barely move now....
  9. Your bathroom stuff are they stainless steel or chrome?
  10. Wah, the spray so powerful, wash the 'ahem' not painful meh? But we digress... Lol
  11. Dude, that tap is for washing the toilet, not for washing... Ahem. So does it matter on the right or left?
  12. Hope the rest, if any, are not all dead somewhere. That's gonna stink!
  13. I think it should be okay, though I haven't tried yet. Still haven't bought the dining chairs yet.
  14. Day 47 (27 Sep 2012) Finally, after 47 working days (discounting Sundays and Public Holidays), the house is handed back over to me. After a series of touchups throughout the day, I finally signed the handover form at around 8pm. Still must praise my ID abit even though handed over. Refer to picture below...hehehe Today was the first time I've seen the dry kitchen T5 lighted up because the switches were only installed today as the backsplash came in very late yesterday. So I remarked to Donny that with the lights shining up, can see the top part of the wall plastered very badly. It looks quite unsightly. For me, it was more a passing remark, and I didn't really give it another thought. I also told him it's okay with me. When I reached home, Donny called me and said he will arrange for the carpenter to come down and put up laminate along that top wall, so that it will look nice! Can't believe got such good ID in Singapore! Hahahaha. House handed over already, money collected already and he stills takes it upon himself to make sure client is 100% satisfied. Stay tuned for the next few days while I gather my thoughts and share a bit more about my ID team, learning points and of course PICTURES!!!
  15. Day 46 (26 Sep 2012) Can almost see the finishing line already! Painters were in since morning to complete the last coat. Carpenters also in to do touchups. Cleaner worked almost 12 hours! Only hiccup is that backsplash came very late, so electricians still have to come in tomorrow. But everything is ready for move in already Tomorrow my turn to do my own cleaning before welcoming the furniture deliveries Not to forget taking pictures also
  16. Exactly! We didn't know about this, ID and electrician also didn't say. By the time we asked to loop the lights, the electrian said sorry cannot already.
  17. One advice. I regret not doing so. Please confirm your lighting plan ASAP. And it doesn't mean just where to have what lights, more important is which lights to group into a switch. Cause lighting points easy to have more, but switch points very cham to open more if already done.. Must hack wall, hack ceiling etc. Very ma fan.
  18. Hope your reno shun shun dude!
  19. Day 45 (25 Sep 2012) Parquet was done today. They put up a barrier to prevent ppl from going up the stairs. Who will anyway? The fume is enough to drive me to tears! It's drawing closer and closer to the completion. ID said he can handover on the morning of 27 Sep. I hardly see how that is possible given the work still outstanding 1. Kitchen backsplash not installed 2. By virtue of 1, switches in kitchen also not installed 3. Carpentry not complete. A lot of touch ups still required. There is also an issue with the bulbs they have to resolve. 4. Spray on the rockstone effect on front porch area that they plastered instead previously. 5. Last coat of paint yet to be done 6. Final washing before handover I failed to see how all these can be completed in one day tomorrow. But my ID seems confident. I hope he doesn't fail me, though I have allowed him 27th as a contingency. But my furniture starts arriving on 28 Sep, so no more extension already.
