The Transformation

Is this beading a permanent fixture or is it only a preventive instrument during renovation? -
Day 19 (25 Aug 2012) A very quiet day today. Only 2 tilers were working today when we came by. So far, tiling for all toilets and the yard room have already completed. Living, and dining were also completed including the skirtings. They should finish dry kitchen today. Next week they should be working on the yard and sink stove. I wonder how many cigarette butts lie buried beneath my flooring though

No harm right? If you want I can PM you my ID. They also did another forummer's terrace. I was recommended them by her. Actually they do provide alot of useful feedback which a lay person like me sometimes couldn't possibly know. Cost wise, they are not the cheapest but I find them still competitive. They are also pretty honest in some of the external contractors they recommended to me and that I can engage directly. I've compared prices separately and found almost little to no markups.

Curious. Why hall and dining aircons must be changed? I reckoned these will be one of the least used aircons in your house.

Luckily mine is flat all the way. -
I did my pest control with R. Paid 3k after the HSBC discount, and that's for ground treatment only. But their worker is pretty good and efficient. For roof, really depends on the condition of your tiles. For my case, I observed that none of my neighbours had changed their tiles, hence I decided that they must still be good. Waterproofing the joints should do the trick. Painting price is about there, as they need to erect scaffolding, which costs a bomb. But be careful to ask the type of paint they are supplying. Lousy paint is very prone to mould and algae.

Day 17 (23 Aug 2012) Slow day today. Not much going on. Tiling for living room continues at a good pace. MBR toilet floor also completed. Roofing guys were there to replace the rusty flashings but not sure were they completed or not because they covered up with canvas. Living room tiling continues Wood tiles for my bay window (no budget already )
