This is a very unpleasant situation. They should offer you a discount or compensate you in some way. I understand sometimes is really difficult to do a flawless job but when they know they are going to leave visible marks like that they should have talked to you before messing things up. I hope you sort it out.

I don't really believe them. Real non scratch flooring is really hard to find. No matter what the sales guy says and how they test it in front of you you can never be sure.

Yeah, I agree, plastering is definitely a way to go about it although you are going to lose some space but at least you are going to have nice even wall

Renovating your living room to a high standard is really good but what gives your home the finest finish is the toilet. I am not surprized people spend a lot of money. If I could I would have done it as well. My boss' toilet even has a crown that she puts on when "performing the action".

Thanks for all the info and images guys. I have always been a fan of the minimalist design but unfortunately my wife loves stuffing our house with loads of items so it was great to know some people share my ideas. I definitely loved that flat, I wish could stay there for a while

There are so many people who really like Ikea and almost the same number with negative opinions so it turns out that is more like a personal choice. Their furniture is good but you have the right to express opinion
