    U did balcony roof? I must hv missed ur pics on e balcony. How much? EMRENO thanks for yr replies. Sorry to inconvenience u at this time but really need yr whole quotation n total costs for comparision. Areas like balcony, Yesterday met up with my ID/ Contractor for e reno discussion n yet to see his quote. Balcony roof is one of the scope, so will appreciate yr sharing.

    Hi Mae29, Just chanced upon your blog. Very nice reno. Good to know that u have a smooth makeover. Wah, u r great leh.... besides giving reno tips u also very into fengshui .... Hahaha.     I am staying in a 1st Gen EM, coincidentally similar layout. Yr completed transformation is very nice.. So clever of u to repolish the marble flooring instead of replacing it.. Saves a lot of $$$. However I intend to renovate my EM now so sourcing for reliable IDs / contractors. Mind to share yr reno contact. Many thanks.

    Telefunken, glad u disclosed yr bad experience in RT.. Nvr will I expect such reputable ID firm like Chew Interior to come out with this substandard job....( was thinkin of gg to them one time coz of their advertisements ). Really share yr woes.. I intend to renovate my more than 20 yrs old EM & has been reading RT forums for lobangs on good ID firms / contractors. While in RT, I did put up a 'request for renovation' n received several replies..... Some with quotes, some with just contacts but still undecided leh. Urghh.... frustrating. Anyway hope u can shun shun settle yr problems. PS : How in the first place u end up with them
