about your solid top - even tho they polish the surface before delivering to your place, after chemical wash, suggest that you use your hand and touch the whole surface or see the reflection to make sure there are no scratches etc ... for mine, i had to get the solid top guy to come down and polish the whole thing again (since he was here anyway), and to polish some other spots that were left out ...

I hv gone thru this n unfortunately, the answer to both questions is no. I spoke to the guy who came to do the relocation, opennet outsourced the work to them but under the terms of their contract, they cannot accept any jobs themselves-many ids n contractors asked b4 liow... if ur electrician is confident, he can conceal the additional length n shorten tge entire length but won't b able to do anything to the tp as that end requires some expertise...

Looks about right, i think can cross-check with peeka ? incidentally, i c on the product description the price will drop soon - could be worth asking the shop when that would be... if there are items you're planning to buy, could be worth considering freight forwarders like amcon mentioned by frankman - volumetric is probably cheaper but their minimum charge is about S$110 per cubic metre (i think) so you really want to maximise that amount if you can't hit 1 cubic metre by yourself...

ehhh, u bought the transformer at sim lim square ? i gotta check on my unit - i thought i checked it before i moved it back, i think it can take 110-240v but gotta double-check... one good thing about the electronics in china that i brought back so far - they all can do 110-240v so i dun need transformer...

just to share, i was planning to buy the following wusthof in-drawer knife blockfrom amazon but they won't ship here so i decided to check out if this was stocked locally...found out that razorsharp at tan boon liat building stocks wusthof, but happened to be out of stock ... about sgd59, which is about the same price if i were to ship here when i was there last week, i also realised they stocked a lot of brands that i've never heard about so for those kitchen gurus out there, could be a good place to visit.. btw, that place also got interesting furniture stores there like journey east, mountain teak... happy shopping !

honestly, i've never heard of it b4 so it is probably not in the league of midea for household appliances. incidentally, midea is amongst the most reliable brands for household appliances - for other stuff like fans etc, there are other better brands. i bought my sanyo kettle in 2010 or so so it's an old model liow, but i think it looks similar to the following 2: 三洋（Sanyo）　U-C1215HS　快速电热水壶 三洋（SANYO ）U-C1218GS 1.2L 1800W 不锈钢极速电水煲（电水壶） only difference between the 2 seems to be the wattage - first one is 1500w, the 2nd is 1800w

aiyo, not as "lucky" (my plumber said that, not me) as me with my common bathroom's wc - both the original and replacement leaked, was so fedup with the original shop that i gave up and bought one from johnson suisse at inzwerkz ... not end of story yet - discovered that same toilet's light is suddenly not working couple of days ago (was working for the past few weeks) ... my id and i agreed that toilet like not very lucky ... hopefully everything is ok now ... i learnt must take a deep breath during the whole process, otherwise will be very very stressed ...
