Yah it makes a diff if u want to do any hacking or change any tiles, if not it shouldn't be a prob, im doing my Reno for resale ,similar doing 2toilets n ( overlay floor bt hack wall) hack kitchen wall n floor bt only do up floor tiles , carpentry for kitchen cab n mbr wardrobe, rewiring n painting n piping, + grilles for whole Hse n window glass for living only n iron gate etc abt 23k + haven gt the final quote yet cos we add on painting later on , my Reno would be done end oct n early nov

hi..received a quotation for wall tiles( exposed part), may i check does it means there will be no tiles for area behind cabinets? is it a must to put wall tiles behind cabinets?or anyone who doesnt put wall tiles in kitchen? ive wanted a glass backsplash between top n bottom cabinet..was wondering in that case is it a must to put wall tiles behind? resale flat used old kind of white tile 4by 4 inches...heard these kinda tiles may pop behind the cabinets if we dun change it...thinking is it ok if hack the tiles on cabinet side n just leave it without tiles appreciate any advises..thanks

hi everyone..a newbie here n would like to check with u guys over some matter.. recently my hubby n i booked a repurchase flat under hdb's sales of balance,,,we would be gg for viewing wif e hdb officer. does any one know if we r entitled to check for defects e.g leakage of pipes or cracks etc on that day n report to hdb for repair etc. Although ours is consider application to buy new flat...bt the house has been renovated by previous owners( bt hacked away everything except tiles...n install new toilet bowls)i dont expect e condition to be brand new, just checking out what r the things we can look for hdb to settle n after renovation will hdb settle the haulage etc? thanks!
