LOL!! I think my hubby must have been too switched off during the search process to provide any suggestions. Tsk tsk.

I got quoted about 10K for aircons my place - 6 Daikin aircons for a built up of about 2500 sq ft. I think some of the aircons are underpowered (i.e BTU seems a little low) though, so asking the aircon man to do a site survey this weekend to make sure that the aircons are cold enough for the space.

Wow that is very systematic, Minerat & jumbopanther. I wish i had known that whilst sourcing for IDs for my terrace. It was really difficult to compare apples to apples with regards to all the quotations. In the end i went with the ID that had the most chemistry with us. Good luck with the quotation, Suyun!

Other than engaging a PE you'll probably need to do a soil test to check if you need piling (or not) for the additional level
