So a/c only for this area. My wife wanted the union jack, but it doesn't come with 2 doors, and as such, we debated between the 2 doored red and blue. Feeling lost we called Mr.K, and ended up with 红色美。 Above pic is the view of our dining and living from our dry kitchen. Minimum kitchen carpentry: As we have discovered from our lifestyle over the years, we don't really fancy having much crockery. Lightings...again 1) As mentioned in our previous post, we;re selling our purchases from Taobao, and we bought these instead : Left 1 is from Taobao, right is the real McCoy. To me, there is not much difference. To my wife, there is a significant difference in quality and weight and everything. 2) Next is our beautiful MBR lampshades from Etsy : There're 2 of these, which will be hung at both sides of the bed (by the way this pic wasn't taken at our home. ) We took the pic with the plastic wrapping, hence it looks crumpled. It was actually very well made. 3) Our previous spin off of Moooi Random light 60cm has been replaced by this: My wife is a huge fan of this brand lights and she spotted this, and insisted that this will be the perfect 1 for living area. Of course, it helps when Mr K said 黄色美.

Hi, Think we're equally slow. Started on Apr 1, and carpentry just completed. We're super slow and bo chup till he gave up. Till now, lights not installed as we made our purchases online only last week. Haha Anyway things are up without our knowledge as he's afraid of us changing our mind yet again. We actually had a pleasant surprise when we saw the carpentry, and as usual no complains on the quality and workmanship

Hi! Thought u guys got toto toilet bowls? Anyway you're right about the limit on the flush set in our toilet bowls. If I remember it's 4.5 litres for full flush and 3 litres for half flush. Have heard some plumbers can remove this limit thing...but then again its illegal la. As for water pressure in showers, the water pressure for HDB flats are not as strong.

Our tilers are actually the same. We recognize them. One antagonistic and one friendly. But maybe we are easily satisfied lol

Hi We have actually done up our toilets. Black hex tiles for our mbr toilet with white grout too. You can go see our t blog. We prefer white grout though as we are very cartoon people haha

Now I know why mr k said very nice! Anyway I love geometric prints and have been wanting to get it for the longest time! Hubs refused saying it was ugly and out of fashion. After seeing your pics, he finally agreed to it so many thanks to you for that!

Hi all, selling our lights from Taobao as they're not suitable for our home. Have not been installed yet, and boxes were opened by us for inspection only. Toto has toilet bowls that cost around 560-600+. However the design's not sleek/modern. I think it comes with the Siphonic flush, and they're suitable for 5-6 inches (which is most common for HDB). Which means no need to use P-traps. And just in case you're wondering what is Siphonic flush, it means "tornado" effect when u flush. As for the sales period, we didn't ask as we can't wait till the delivery date. Hope this helps

Hi Vanessa, As promised: toilet bowl : approx 950 (1 piece -master) approx 850 (2 piece -common, assuming u want a better 1 for master) sink : approx 800 (400 x 2) taps: 580 (290 x 2) shower: approx 900 (rain shower. forgot the price for normal 1, which we assume it'll be for common) total = 4,080 After disc 35% = 2,652 We forgot the price of the kitchen tap though. Actually there's not much diff in prices if we buy from Hafary or Toto. For Hafary, toilet bowls not as pricey as toto, but the hansgrohe shower/taps slightly more ex than Toto brand. And for Toto, its vice versa. You can try asking some members here who bought their Hans fittings online. According to them its much cheaper.

Most importantly your current sofa blends in well with your lovely home No point looking back at prices or other better designs s there'll always be better ones around.

Hi Vanessa. Unfortunately we threw the quote from toto. But will provide the average price of the items after work. In our opinion you should invest in a good kitchen tap as you're renotalk's celebrity chef, hence very heavy usage !

Hi Sarah! You said you enjoyed sitting on the floor to watch tv. Just curious.. Wouldn't your bottom feel painful from sitting for too long?? Or cos you practice yoga so sitting on the floor is no issue haha? I don't think I can watch tv by sitting on the floor. I am a very lazy person and like to sleep on the sofa hehe. And craning my neck to watch tv will give me neck and back ache hehe. Btw my hubs asked if you bidded for the licence plate number ?
