  1. Hi jetlee724, Have you made your order, want to do bulk order? think the price reasonable leh. I am also interested. Thanks.
  2. Hi Freakerz, Thanks for the insightful sharing.
  3. Hi kooky, Easy decision. Decide on where your Opennet box to be located. Please note that the length of the standard fibre provided to link modem is limited. What you should know is these three items, opennet box, modem plus router, need to be in close proximity, due to cabling constraint etc. I am current subscriber of Singtel fibre. Have been them when it was introduced shortly. But now, will switch to m1's offer as mentioned above. Anyway, the digital voice comes free. Your choice. The handsets of my family auto connects to Wifi when we are along the common corridor. The most important decision is to know where to place your OpenNet Box. I was advised by a Telco guy to place it on the second storey, which I did. Maybe you can visit T-blog which relate to the more or less same topic for my inputs. Hope the info helps.
  4. Hi kooky, Think you really need to know what u want. How many computer systems do you have? Can tap on wireless? How much speed do you need? For fibre optics, think there is a pretty good deal, free digital voice, free 7.2 mpbs mobile, a good speed of 100 mpbs at home at only $39/- dollars a month. I m contemplating to sign up upon expiry of my current contract. Maybe you re-examine your needs and wants? My two cents worth.
  5. Hi pearlk, I am not able to advise much, since my ID co-ordinated the installation when OpenNet guys came (S$200/- plus I think, ). But based on my observation, the cables came in from one of the bedrooms on the second floor. a trunking was catered for. since I wanted the OpenNet Box to be in mu MBR, the cables came through the false ceiling of my second floor passage before landing at the bottom corner of my MBR (near the one panel window). We managed to custom make a cabinet to hide the OpenNet Box. Maybe u can see the 3 pics attached for clarity. Hope the info helps.
  6. Hi pearlk, I just finished my EM reno. I installed opennet fibre optic partly because I m still under contract when I shifted, but also of the convenience of going wireless and speed. I did not install any data points. I was advised by the Telco technical to have the opennet installed on the second floor. As such, my mio is at my MBR. So far, at my place, the speed and connectivity at its optimum for all smart phones, ipads, lappies and smart tv. But only my desktop got problem. I bought an adaptor to tap the wireless, but the speed slower and sometimes connectivity disrupted. I think prob becos of adaptor but since seldom using the older desktop. I live with it. Hope the info helps.
  7. Bro HappyAng Got time can also look out to buy bathroom accessories, toilet paper holders, bathe robe hooks, towel hooks etc. Then also must decide locations and then get your ID to install. Homogeneous tiles need special drill bits and skills. Btw, if time permits. You check checkup taobao. Since the accessories no need complicating assembling and compliane to standards or sort. Can help to cur down costs. Two cents.
  8. Hi jetlee724, Thanks, actually, there are some forum members who also used this. Read somewhere here. ID asked want swee bo when selecting the mixers sanitary ware and what sort. We say we want. He advised us to buy this. Think this installed by tilers. Not too sure. Must check up. If you want must check up when your workers install to fit the schedule of your renovation. All the Best for your renovation journey.
  9. Hi HappyAng, Yes. Other than Heritage, there is a shop, Universsal Union also not bad. but i see that you already committed on the essential sanitary wares and sort. got time then go see look look loh. lol. a pic of floor trap as attached. enjoy your sunday!
  10. Bro, My floor trap bought at heritage, geylang. Think sone of forum members also bought there. Read from here. I bought 3. One costs about $50/- dollars. The floor trap actually tailored and blend in with any tiles. No worries. Your ID will know what to do. I try send pic for better understanding.
  11. Hi bro, Not intending to buy floor trap? Looks for classy for toilet flooring.
  12. Wah yours really super good deal. Think set bench mark already.
  13. Hi FatFat Family, I showed my wife your impressive pics. Can share the material for your kitchen tabletop? Thanks.
  14. Wah. Must be very satisfying and cozy to go home everyday. Like hotel spa or like. I also got fishes, but in fish tanks only. Haha.
  15. Wow FatFat Family. Very impressive. Especially your water feature. Very nice.
  16. Later I will upload the roofed up balcony whereby my ac compressor and water storage heater are being located.
  17. One contractor through my brother. Yap. Considering dryer too. Can put on top of my washer.
  18. Hi rayloke Think better to check with your assigned HDB technical guy.
  19. Haha. U reminded me about rules mah. Other options include buying hooks from Ikea or hardware shop and use string to replace bamboo holder through the current location. Actually have other options. Just that safety and style hinder us to take up. On and off, I Reece around to copy others ideas.
  20. My ex owner had previously located his a/c compressor there.
  21. Haha. I m actually preparing to fabricate holders through my MBR le. One alternative quite reluctant to take cos my helper will need to come into my room more frequently.
