Hi potatoes, Thanks for the information. I do not have a yard as my kitchen has been extended into that area. Can't build anything on the ceiling area as it is currently a false ceiling. Currently, I do have bamboo holders installed right outside my kitchen area and I was told that it is not allowed. As my top floor neighbor hangs their mop out at that area, it became non feasible for hanging our clean clothes there. I do have clothes stand which can hang around 20 pieces of clothes and portable bamboo stands, which my maid place at the quiet public stairway one floor up my unit. Currently exploring for a feasible long term solution. Haiz.

Hehe HappyAng Actually, based on my observations, the builders for the glass railings needed to be very precise and skilled to build the three pieces of glasses to sit into the grooves that they built, nicely. I noticed they came a few times using their laser to make measurements. The challenge for them was for the first two pieces, where there is this T angle. If everything swee swee. U will notice everything very even out and from u resting your hand for the first glass to the last, there is no noticeable difference. For my case, the second piece of glass has a very slight deviation as compared to the first. But since not very noticeable, I let it pass and let go.

The ring hooks are available at ikea. Must say that, that is the most safe, less risky way. Clothes are light, thread wont hurt. But I m more of high risk high return. My appetite for risks very high. I opt for others. explore and find what is best for your needs loh.

Hi kooky Other options to explore include buying the ring hooks from ikea, mount to the two sides of the external wall, I.e. outside your service yard window, connect string or stainless steel metal wire and use the wire as a base. Buy drying rack like saloons drying their towels? Old fashioned a bit, buy a pair of bamboo holder stands and dry outside your unit or make use of the common area one staircase up your unit?

Hi kooky Think your contractor will remove the bamboo holders. Anyway, u may want to explore bamboo holder from your MBR window, I.e. over the rooftop. Authority will pass since that is your own void area. But practicality wise, needs further pondering.
