yes come in red, grey, and clear i think. about $1.3k for 6 pcs. Dunno whether is my ID slow or what. He says after false ceiling is done, must wait a couple of days for it to be fully dry. After its totally dried, then can start painting. otherwise next time will hv moulds. so end up i wait 5 days just to hv the false ceiling done, waited another one week for the paint to be done, then another 1 week for them to lay the lights after my paint. just for false ceiling, painting and electrical, I need to take 3 weeks. sounds bad right?? more pics to come. and my neighbour keep asking me whenever he sees me - when will our renov be finished? and he said his renov was completed in less than 3 weeks! wah! dunno my ID is super snail, or my nieghbour ID is superman. super buaay tahan my ID. he promised to be around druing air con trunking days, but disappered, nvr turn up at all!! maybe cos he never earn commission, cos we order air con ourselves from outside vendor. he stupid excuse is that - cos the aircon pple are not his workers, and if he is around, he is in a difficult position cos he say also cannot, dun say also cannot. if the aircon is his workers, then he is in a position to tell them what to do. u all tell me what kind of crab is this! he said his last experience when he is present during the aircon trunking installation is that the aircon pple call him and scold him for being kaypo, and said he hope we can understand his position. I dont understand, and I think he is just giving some stupid excuses... I pay him to be my ID, so if he gets scolding from aircon pple, so be it - in any case, I expect him to be able to handle. Not as if he is the first day into his job. If he is not happy, can tell me about it and I can complain to the aircon pple. To think that he promised to come but fly us kite... Sigh.. from the time I posted my chair pic until today, only painting is done. That shows how super slow my ID is.. like a lazy snail!! Or am I requesting too much.. I simply cant imagine how my neighbour renov gets finished in 3 weeks. Though their renov is not major, but still need to lay tiles, paint, up electrical, and carpentry and grilles.

Ok, here are pics of my living room - tiles done up some time ago, before cardboard protection is laid. I like everything in tiles, looks good and nice! easy maintenance too After floor protection, they do the ceiling works - wow they are fast, done in a day or two. Now supposed to choose colours for painting the walls. Looking at ICI, and I hear that colours always appear darker than that small sample shown in their (ICI) booklet, is it? BTW, my ID tells me that water based sealer can be mixed into the paint to be painted? Is that true? By the way, look at this kerb @ my front door, do u think it looks o-biang? Gosh, my dad in law asked them to make like this. I think I must hack it away... I cant imagine it at my front door.. and I dont see the advantage to having it. Also my ID so fast install my shower set - and I think it looks funny..can anyone help me? U see the one I circled ? How come its like a loose rope? Got our keys and started renovation not too long ago. 1) See - the ID do that hot water piping until so ugly. What do u all think? 2) ID has separated our rooms with this 'gypsum board' and hey it looks like this! greyish with some white plaster paint. Is this how it works? 3) And hor, my bedrooms all do homo. tiles, and they did another additional kerb. See they build up another small kerb onto the HDb kerb @ the bathroom. Isn't it weird?? Please help to advise, fellow forummers!

Thanks Mace! Now, my FS master gave me a date for Dong Tu. I asked if there is anything I need to do. He say no need. All I need to do is to ask ID to go and start work on that day. Strange leh, no need to buy fruits, fa kuey, or burn incense etc meh? He said no need.

i just got a new flat direct from hdb, and is doing some defects now. question is i asked my fs master if i need to dong tu before the hdb contractor come in to do defects? my defects include hacking & relaying of tiles. Or is the dong tu to be done only before my own contractor start works? my fs master said after - meaning dont need to dong tu before hdb works, i only need to dong tu when my own contractor start works. hmm.. is this right? or is there no right or wrong answer..

oh! my FSM give me this date 20 July 2007 to dong tu. is this date ok for dong tu, 11am to 5pm?

Hello.. I heard Ah Keong carpentry work is good. But how about tiling works? Pat has showed me a unit, but there isnt any tiling works done.. so just wanna to ask if his tiling job is good a not. Also is Ah Keong good at designing? Our feature wall cum tv console and shoe cabinet is deep in depth and I'm thinking of how to break the 'fatness'. Yes, he is v v busy... I need to take a day leave just to catch him at lunch hour.. (!)

Recently I have selected a new HDB flat through the recent WIS, and got my keys. U know we are supposed to check for defects and report them to HDB. I have reported a series of defects :- Hollow Tiles & Wall cracks Dirty windows, with rusty knobs Knobs and magnetic catch of doors are rusty, with scratches Toilet bowl full of dirt and the sticky residues left over by masking tapes cannot be removed at all no matter no much I scratch it. When I reported this to HDB, my officer said they can only replace the tiles, and touch up the cracks. All the rest such as badly scratched knobs, rusty magnetic catchs, dirty toilet bowls with sticky residues - I need to get contractor to wash for me. HDB will do anything for me. As for rusty magnetic catch, and knobs, they will no choice, I just got to live with it. Really not sure how this works. Is this the case? Or is my HDB officer plain lazy or finding excuses? !! Pleaseeee help!

Is it for Buddhism, only scatter grains and salt into the new empty house? No need to pray, no need to buy apples, oranges etc?? Our fengshui master never say must buy anything leh. Only sprinkle the grain + salt. Thats all Cos my fren says she bought all of these plus fa kuey. I heard must pray before renov start. So when to start the pray? just before Dong Tu time?

agree, some walls are meant to be hollow. u can see from the floorplan mah. black colours are structural beams, so are very solid. the rest will be hollow. am i right?

i only went to them for quotation. but they dont give quotation one, they ask me to pay them a lump sum - i think was $300 or $500 - then the designer will do those prespective drawings and then share the quotation with you - if u are happy with the design, then you sign with them. if u not happy, can dont sign the quotation with them, but the fee you paid for the consultation is not able to take back. also they will not show you the flats that u hv done, unless u signed with them. thats all i know. ~ anyway, im still looking around, not yet decided who to sign with.
