Yah. This is the most expensive carpentry work. Coz this stupid wall is 12ft. And its in the middle of the dining area. So prominent. So u take all the quotes from all the IDs and multiply by 12ft it will definitely be expensive one.. !!

Original wanted 2x3 seater as L-shape, but think it is too big for our living so changed to 2x3 seater and place seperately. Forgot wat material.

Yah, got the sofas.. The delivery was very prompt. The guy told me 9-11, end up when I reach 9.15, 1 sofa outside my place. It came nicely wrapped. As my place is still pending some rectification by the ID, did not take out the wrapping to check.

Not much to update this week. Carpentry all done, but some rectifications to be done. Bath accessories, laundry sink, heaters all up.. My dining set, coffee table and sofas also arrived. Luckily, the colour turned out as we expected. Ordered our major appliances: Fridge, Wm, dryer, TV.. Major cash outlay.. Wrong should be credit outlay.. Haha. Photos? Hehe.. Too bz over the weekends. Will try to upload tonight!

Oh. My solid surface is Acelite brand one. Not really very black, but looks abit like granite. ID charge $65/fr. Laminates included in the kitchen quote of $95/fr. So he say can use any laminate as long as not metal ones. When i did ID shopping, price all quite comparable. I wont say the price is cheap, but at least comparable to other IDs. Maybe u can aim for your next home!
