Before I share more, I'd like to find out if anybody out there changed all the pipes to PPR pipes for plumbing work and roughly how much did it cost for a house about the size of 5rm - two bathrooms, a toilet and kitchen? You can PM me if you are not comfortable stating the price here. Thanks.

Hi, I recently installed the same Alpha fan as yours and I have a little problem regarding the height of the fan. Did you use a shorter rod or the original rod that comes with it? From the picture you posted, it looked like you used the original rod though. I bought a shorter rod (shorter by 15cm) but was told not to install the top cap of the fan if I used the shorter rod. However, the wiring and screws will be exposed and dust will collect. So my electrician used the longer rod but now it's hanging too low and I could touch the fan if I tiptoe and I'm only 1.64m tall. For people who are taller, I fear the fan will be too low for them. Do you have the same problem? My ceiling height is 2.7m. What is yours?

You're not alone. Mine started 12 November (earlier than yours) and until now, tiling hasn't completed yet.

In the past, there were too many good reviews, ended up many people like us insisted on using him. It wasn't his fault. We insisted on signing up with him even though he didn't seem that keen to close the deals. I probably should have taken the hint to go somewhere else. Of course reno goes on and life goes on, but one is entitled to feel regrets, and by voicing out my regrets, hopefully potential customers can make an informed decision

A customer of his here. Yes it was the same feeling, he wasn't keen to close the deal, but I wanted him based on good reviews on "fast and good" even though expensive. So I paid a higher price for his "fast and good". But now, the "fast" is not true anymore, I'm praying the "good" is still valid. Reno has been going on for more than a month now, and progress is excruciatingly slow. I regretted signing him up. If I could turn back the clock, I would have put in more effort to talk to other contractors and IDs and give the rest and myself a chance. I probably wouldn't have engaged him if I could go back in time.

Sorry i wasn't being clear. I meant the under-sink cabinet in the kitchen. The two rectangular thing is for ventilation? Or what purpose do they serve?

Your bathroom looks spacious! Like it simple and bright. What brand is your WC? Looks nice. Is that ventilation for the under sink cabinet? Now I'm thinking if I should have the same for mine too. Any review of its usefulness?

Hi macuser77, I read that you purchased the Bravat wc. May I know how you find the wc? Are they good? I'm also quite particular about wc and am worried about buying wc that has "blind spots" that no matter how many times you flush, the water just can't reach certain spots, resulting in stains. (sorry for such description). Appreciate your review of the wc! Also, if you don't mind, are you able to share the price range of the Bravat wc or is there a package price for the wc and sink?
