  1. bad news my ID says that most probable we can't share 1 storage heater for the 2 bathrooms due to the structure of the place between the common and master bathroom. it's all beam which my ID says maybe quite impossible to run the piping. anyway the salesman from AOS told me that he will send his plumbers to rectify the problem finger crossed anyway, these are our purchases recently a one-piece water closet (magnum) (S$350 each) (S$350)AO smith 25L storage heater which i'm not sure whether it can be used now (S$220)this is a carysil silgranit kitchen sink. I don't know what is the difference with the bianco granite sink but this Carysil is cheaper.
  2. Hehe u r totally right! Can't wait to see the pictures of your house after it is 100% done! Please post your pictures soon
  3. Owww thanks for the info! I finally got a storage heater from AO smith instead. Don't know how good it is but knowing that we need rain shower we most probably need that storage heater for the pressure.
  4. I went down to AOS today and was sales-talked all the way to but this AO smith 25L storage tank heater. Then I came back home to find lots of reviews that people have been having difficulties with it. Any of you care to share experience with AO smith storage heater? I can't seem to post pictures from iPad. I will try again later

  7. Hi woonie! All the best for your renovation! I wanna ask u something for the city gas heater it can be bought from anywhere that sells it right? Need not to be from sp services place in somerset does it?
  8. @oceaneleven finally someone got me! I told my sister and hubby and they say the layout is fine. I really don't like the idea of separate dining and living you can't watch tv and dine at the same time! But we decided to get the house anyway because we bought it at 28k below valuation First thought of hacking the bedroom near the main door and move it to the current dining area. So dining and living will be together. But hubby says cannot change too much of the layout if not will have problem next time when selling the house. So decided to only hack the wall separating dining and kitchen so that the house will look brighter and airier and sofa will be against the living room window. Do u have the link to the house with the similar unit to mine? Maybe I can get some inspiration from there. @Takaishi the website is still under construction anyway it is selling at 229 come with a 13w Phillip LED bulb can choose warm white or cool white diameter is 30 cm and height is adjustable. But height of bird cage is 60 cm. When the website is up I will post it here @alfredt , spot on! I am Indonesian
  9. Yeah I really love how your wardrobe has turned it's not making the room look too small. Initially I also wanted my mbr to have that king of walk in wardrobe feel but due to budget issue have to scrap it off. Decided to use pole system instead. Envy all of you who got a bto. The renovation package is lesser so can spend more on carpentry for me hacking and changing the whole house tiles already cost a lot T.T Built in bunk bed is better than hidden bed I feel because it gives the room a more complete look. Maybe just my preference. Built in bunk bed is kind of like the condo show flat nowadays
  10. Hi ocean eleven, I want to ask you more about the city gas heater. Is there like a minimum charge by pub or something? And I heard the gas can also be used for dryer no? Your place is really big btw! And nice color combi for both toilets my layout is very weird have to hack some walls here and there and worse can't watch tv while eating due to the seperately dining and living. Yours is long and open which is the best I feel guessing yours is somewhat ready and can move in soon huh?
  11. Wow! Taobao expert too?? I have always wanted to try buying things from taobao and been asking my husband to help me with it because I can't read Chinese at all but he seems not to be as hopeless as me though he has been learning Chinese since he was young!! really wished I have learnt Chinese earlier but well, my government didn't allow us to learn Chinese then so maybe ocean can help me if I want to buy anything hehehe
  12. Hi lyamami, I really live the carpentry work in your house. Especially the built in bunk bed. Having a built in bunk bed is such a good idea to save space yet it doesn't compromise on the strength of the bed. I'm really scared of those ready made bunk bed seems very unstable. Mind sharing how much you spend on your wardrobes and the built in bunk bed? Thank you!!
  13. hi ocean eleven! close~~~ it's Jurong West 65x series actually, are there difference between their layout? you seem to be an expert in this area huh
  14. As we all know, the tiles that we choose and the cabinet laminates will really set the tone for the concept of your house. And to match our resort style thing we use more soothing colors and a more earthy ones like stone(grey) and wood( brown) so here is my kitchen tiles my bathroom tiles And my favourite! kitchen cabinet laminate I tried to check online any picture of kitchen cabinet that uses such laminates and none! i can't find anyone using these laminates but that make it even more exciting! below are some lamps that i am going to put up in my house bird cage lamp comes with E27 13W Phillip bulb (S$219) from www.theupperroom.sg and for an even more nature loving look, a garden lamp comes with E27 5W (S$49.90) from www.theupperroom.sg yoohoo!! can't wait till my house is done!!
