ehh..the curtain, u can try go approach the curtain van at our neighbourhood. Its definitely cheaper than ikea's. My first curtain shopping is at ikea too. was quoted $860-$900 for living room (day+night) and mbr(night only). Then i went to clementi to check, got my curtain at price of $800. I settled my curtain by then already. After that i realised that simpleboi did his curtain at $600+.. And i heard that the curtain van also quoted $600+. So for your estimate, the most reasonable curtain that u can do is $600+. $600+ includes day+night in living room, and night at 3 bedrooms. Its v v reasonable cos they include the other 3 bedrooms also. If you wanna do day+night at mbr and living room, and night at the other 2 bedroom, u can do at a cost of $800+ fyi..

yup mine is single tic-tac door. can open till 90degree max. oh ur contractor suggested u to do 2 doors? is it troublesome? (imagine when u need to open ur hhs door, u need to open 2 doors). Now for me, 1 door is abit troublesome already !! very lazy to open 1 door to access another door. haa.. this is a pic of how 90degrees can be done

hehe jasch hacked away 1 room to become v big mbr...even a "king of the king" size bed also can fit in anywhere

yup exactly the same shop..they sell quite interesting stuffs there we almost wanted to get a pepper grinder cost abt $20+ (forgot the price). But when we went back another day, its out of stock already,sigh..will drop by there again they have nice vase there too though the shop there is v small. btw i am also a Torres fan

heh thanks. The table have 2 sizes (one big and one small)..i chose the smaller one. The size is quite standard for a dining table, i am not too sure abt the exact measurement..sorry ya. If u happens to drop by Furniture Club u can take a look at the size?

heh that laminate is glossy type also. oh ya there are many other new range of laminates..remember to see more before you decide on the laminates. Recommended that u ask your ID to give you 3 laminate books to see My ID gave me 2 books of laminates to chose from.. After i have decided on my laminates, i realised that there is another book (the 3rd book) which i prefered. heh but too late..my carpentry is already up hmm actually no need much maintenance..in fact glossy laminate is easier to clean. Just 1 wipe will do

update on my blog: finally bought 2 cushion covers to match my dark colour sofa (sigh not easy to buy cushion cover for dark colour stuff actually). Previously bought 2 already at Ikea but went back to return + refund. The colour we bought at ikea is too light to match my dark brown sofa Now after 3 mths of searching..finally bought it today at Tangs. hehe didnt know that cushion cover is so diffcult to chose
