hihi they are starting on carpentry now already, factory start work on mon, heard from my ID that they are installing some of the carpentry in my hse today already. duno how is it like, once its almost done then i see if i can arrange u to come down my hse ok? now also nothing much to see yet also btw have u chosen ur tiles already? went balestier to chose ur tiles right?

i duno how they do it, come to think of it, how can they be so free to spot check and fine the resident..but really my mum got it before, hai, she suay la..

ya lor, was wondering that also..if we didnt follow, will they ask to redo or not spot check is hard to say, previously i stay in my old flat, my mum was got fined to the window grilles not doing according to requirements (not abt the design, its abt the installation not to according to their guideline). for no reason my mum was fined $200+ and asked to add more screws or duno what to strengthen the grilles. the grilles was installed abt in 1996 if i not wrong. was fined in 2001. she also duno go where to find the window grilles company already. tried to explain to hdb officer that we are innocent, but no use, still need to pay fine..lol can faint that time

hehe this thread move so fast, have difficulty catching up lol yup same here leh, on my key collection date, the officer in charge also give me a photo of the grills and ask me to follow the guidelines. i counter-ask the officer "i thought this applies to the balcony" only? and she says also applies to our grilles going to be installed..

next next weekend wil be better..cos estimated carpentry still not up by next weekend wait till got carpentry will be better cos got more things to see, now is still very empty, not much to see !!

my hse also nothing to see yet too..carpentry will not be up by next week. hopefully my carpentry can be done by 22-23rd dec

hi bear bear, the haulage fees is subjected to individual contractor charge..some charge me $200, some $600 also, some free of charge(but they add in this amt to ur other items to even out the fee) if ur other reno items has cheaper price, the $600 haulage fee is reasonable.. however if ur reno package is already exp, +$600 more for the haulage may not be so reasonable so..haulage fee is a must to pay, just that its how the contractor charge u. hope this helps

my lights are up.. this is before *snakes* didnt do cove lights or L-box..just false ceiling after the design of my plc lights (cost abt $30/per)

just read ur blog, u did a good choice la..hehe i can understand how u feel when chosing ur flat, cos i am also the last few to select my flat, i am left only low floors..and that moment was if i dont take the flat, the other couples behind me is going to take it already. so i took my flat and now i am v glad with the my decision hehe ur blog reminds of my that moment at hdb oh ya, even though u paid the additional levy of $45k, its still worth la.
