went up to see my flat today again. this time is inspection for cut leg feeling only manage to spot 1 tile with cut leg feeling. the rest are superb..v smooth, hehe..my wife also agreed too cos we test all the tiles together. v satisfied with the worksmanship. need to rectify that 1 tile though. the electrical works are almost done also, within 1 day i can see all the wires there already. i am abt 2 days behind schedule, still ok lar..hope will catch up this week

hi bin bin, when do u intend to move in to ur new hse? i only moving in next year leh..duno whether shall i buy the LCD TV during this IT fair. if i miss this fair, next time when i buy the TV, do i have problem installing it onto the wall? this is the main issue i am concern.. if i buy during this fair, also abit too early to buy..*vexed*

i thought of getting city gas heater too,but the heater is so bulky,where can we place it har? i heard that city gas heater is more cost saving cos gas is cheaper than electricity---was told by city gas staff what other benefits of using city gas heater ah? (other than cost savings) the cons is that its too bulky to place the heater

thats a good idea too, been to Ikea last week, the kitchen and mbr wardrobe looks nice,and its easy to select and match too. how is the price like? but if get IKEA to do wardrobe and kitchen cabinet, and the tiles get contractor to do, is it more cost saving or is it abt the same?

oh u mean the exposed pipe on top ah? i have that also but the backsplash not affected by the pipes right? backsplash dont cost much ba, cos previously i spoke to Weiken, they can do the backsplash the whole kitchen for free without adding $ in the quote if need to pay $, i guess will be $200+ ba? i still dont know yet, need to check with my ID how much to pay for the backsplash

hi Jazz, yup i am using homo tiles for the whole hse..didnt use laminate flooring. btw homo tiles with laminate look can also be v nice (meaning the tiles look like laminate flooring,but its made of homo). I like this idea,but my wife dont like, so we just do all homo, hehe

yup, you need to find an auspicious day to "kai men". There are many procedures to open the door, i am not too sure which is the correct one. Some say use pineapple to roll the floor,some sprinkle salt everywhere. for me, i got a shifu to come to bless and chant awhile only. didint roll any pineapple renovation - yes, u also need a date to "dong tu". u can find this auspicious date in the calendar or from a fengshui master also.. but hor, actually its all up to u la, i got some friends who didnt do anything also..

get more quotations lor, its quite fun collection quote, but also very tiring hehe but do remember,when u get quotes, try to ask the quotes on similar items, this will give u a better comparison. My first 2-3 quotes, i dont know what i want, so keep changing and makes my comparison tougher. After that, the items on my quotes are more confirm, so comparison will be better also try to ask ur friends for good ID referals.
