  1. Email sent. Replied through email el loco.
  2. Thanks reglxt & el loco! El loco, pm me your email so that i can pass you the quotation? Its in excel file and i'm not sure how to attach that in pm ID is project file btw. Would definitely use them again for their design aspect and budget allows. But i would definitely source for my own electrician.
  3. Great buy in the oppo 93. To poison yourself further you can check out xtremeplace.com
  4. Yea they have hidden gems every now and then. Still gotta thank curryqueen that i've come to know about hock siong. Have you joined their facebook page yet? Its updated quite periodically and when they have new stuff coming in. But the good stuff usually snapped up fast. And i mean real fast. Haha @ely Saw your tblog too! Nice space to work with and seems like it gets lots of natural light. Nice! Compliments to the id who can accomodate my scandinavian fetish haha. But i still feel its more towards modern contemp than scandi though. Well, next time then
  5. Nice sofa from sanctuary dian! How's the comfort?
  6. Thanks ynwaa88 and khimwoon. Hmm.. I guess it all depends on how bright do you want it to be? The artimede can support up to 100w incandescent but i changed it to 40w energy saving bulb. With that light alone everyone at the sitting area will be comfortable. But if one expects to read at the feature wall side with just that light then its not possible. Hope it clears your doubt.
  7. Thanks for the compliment. Have to say the original idea was from another designer but she made it not completely straight and its in plywood so the texture and look is different from laminates
  8. Bought my lights from JB after recommendation from one of the forummers tblog. Although design is limited but its really cheap and they test everything for you before wrapping them up. Even if its a lemon i guess wont be too much of hassle for me as i go in once every month. Oh another good purchase will be kdk fans
  9. Hi January, I can forward you my quotation if you want. Although 2 items will be out from your list, false ceiling and bi-fold door. Pm me your email if you need it.
  10. Hi May, yep its a ceiling fan, called the Sycamore fan. If i'm not wrong the elmark distributor at paya ubi is the sole distributor in Singapore and it cost 1k. http://www.elmark.com.sg/html/NMD5.html Can choose with or without the rod. If you're getting this better use their installer. Its cheaper than what my electrician quoted anyway. Hope this helps.
  11. My side, Grafunkt wonder box with hairpin legs that i drilled in Frosted film on mirror done by window blinds guy. Good price good worksmanship. Laminate on existing wardrobe also changed to suit the design What was originally provided by the developer Will show more of the bed later as we haven't changed the bedsheets yet. Abit paiseh... haha
  12. View from passage way Masterbedroom Same lighting concept as living area where we specifically told our ID that we only want diffused lighting and task lighting only at areas that we need. This contributed to a very cosy feel thats inline throughout the whole apartment. She also came up with the ingenious idea of cove lighting on top of the feature **** room's baywindow and the extra wardrobe constructed at mbr baywindow. That made false ceiling redundant which adds to the loft feel that we like. Wife's side of the bed Artimede Faretto that we asked our friend to buy from London which is effectively half of RRP in singapore. Bulbs not included
  13. The only lights at the living area, Artimede Tolomeo from the ceiling and 3x 4ft T5 from the feature at the baywindow TV Console Sitting Area Dining Area viewed from Living Magis chairs with the DIYed dining table and bench
  14. Welcome to Our Sycamore Place.... Foyer Area, Shoe Cabinet with extra storage on top View from Living Area Living Area
  15. Thanks!! Its halogen. Will changing the bulbs to LED in the near future. Saw from ywna88 thread his led light in similar housing is so much better. Although it cost double but the heat from the halogen is quite significant. 3 bulbs combined to be a whopping 150w.
  16. Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone!! Here's a preview... Dining area Blinds will be up tomorrow, and hopefully I can take better pictures as the glare is just too strong right now to take any pictures.
  17. Thanks ywna88!! @lazybum9: Er... nothing special? Just a laminated wooden plank over the baywindow. Here's a better picture
  18. I'm interested as well.... please keep me in the loop if there's any group purchases.
  19. yeap all thanks to the 2 carpenters who are really on the ball. Maybe they are rushing so that they can return home to enjoy CNY. Hopefully handover can really be next week so that friends can come over during CNY.
  20. Custom made bedframe with parapet height bedhead And lastly, daughter's room with the cute mickey mouse wall light Carpenters and electricians are expected to wrap up their work by friday. Woot!
  21. View of passageway of living/dining area from MBR MBR wardrobe on baywindow Extra storage above existing wardrobe. Laminate of existing wardrobe will be changed to be the same as baywindow's. Nice details on the drawers... nice work by ID
  22. Picture update after first day of carpentry Shoe cabinet at main entrance Turn left after entering. This is the dining area. Door and also one way mirror backing for the display area is not installed yet My 'portal' at livin room baywindow. Sorry for the bad quality as the strong light from window is creating havoc for my iphone Cont'd at next post due to limit of pictures posted.
  23. Very nice resort theme that runs through the house. Not to mention the priceless view!!
  24. @leechaorui: You're humble bro. Thanks for the invitation! @blue_skies: Hi! Its at the other side, lorong melayu. Hows your search btw? Just a mini update: 1.5k to spray paint 5 doors and frames... worth it? There's really no brush marks but its still a big amount. After looking at the result of a forummer's diy, regret that i didn't pull up my socks and did likewise. On a happier note, powdercoated the legs for benches at dining table. Love the result. This is just a mock up with 2 legs wrapped together and the plank just placed on it. Still gotta sand the plank and give it a protective coat. Carpentry installation to start on the 17th!! Exciting times ahead. Haha. It'll be tight as installation will take one whole week and tying up of loose ends for the next 3 days. Will be planning to have all the furniture in on the 28th to be in time for CNY. Fingers crossed!! oh... toes too.
  25. Hi these philips led bulbs are direct replacement for the halogen bulbs? Meaning it does not need any external transformer that we always see that comes with led lights? And where to get these bulbs? Thanks!
