So you will be getting the philips Ambilight TV? I tested the ambilight apps which react to whatever your handphone camera shoot at and very impressive. Then you configure which light you want to position to extend the light effect off the screen. If just doing sound ambient not effective enough as compared to lights extension of your tv. With a ambilight tv you can use your cove as light extension instead of react to sound.

Thanks Ahyong but I am not technically skilled like you and I don't feel comfortable touching live wires. Also I hate changing drivers. I reckon even if I change the plug the wireless controller is also very big to tunnel thru. So I rather make a 13A and just plug it in, easier for me to replace it next time no need to cut and join. Why don't you paint your cove ceiling white so color casting on it will be nicer instead of casting on a dark area. I try to keep my house as white as possible so color casting will look like you got a coat of paint in that color.

I saw it as well but I already bought 2 non plus version. Next time then use new model. Their online website say extension kit, probably already selling the new model but no news of how much is each extension cost. I am having problem to install their light strip as it doesn't work like usual led driver. Need to plug into a 13A socket, so very hard to tunnel the light strip around my carpentry especially with the wireless controller in-between the strip and driver. Those standard lightstrip electrical wires that carpentry and electrician run for me cannot be used.

Thank you for all the reviews. That makes my choice easier. I need 2 fans, so Haiku is a must for living room, also heard the wind spam 2 meter away from wing tip so I am sure it be windy enough for me since I am only 2 room BTO and I can only use the 52" instead of 60", wish I could use the 60" since same price but will be very near the wall structure, think must give allowance for air to circulate. For bedroom I can use a Spin or Haiku, all other DC fan seems no competition to these 2 at all. So either I buy a $1500 haiku and a $900 spin or just get 2 x $1500. Only worries I read about haiku is people who used after 2 years start getting abnormal clicking noise, if my $1500 haiku don't last me many years more then the spin then really not worth the investment, but then again, the haiku looks **** bloody awesome that you got to get it for the looks. Not gonna get the led light or sense me option for haiku too so to make it bare bone so less thing will spoil. add too many feature more chance of break down and waste money asking them to come service. You think it is too much to ask for 5 yrs of usage without problem for the haiku or you are happy even with 2-3 yrs and it become noisy and beyond repair. Was thinking to buy 2 haiku so I can swap the parts out if one failed and keep it as spare part for the other one still alive and kicking. Zzz if your spin break down and you need a new one, you will get haiku or spin for your bedroom? -

Mind telling me your experience with your haiku fan so far, like wind power and noise level and any abnormal noise? If you didn't buy haiku which will you buy? Spin? I ask because having a tough time whether to go ahead with haiku cos heard their service is very bad scare break down within 2 years not worth for that price, with the same price can buy 2 spin or Airfusion Climate II. Your review so far with your experience will be nice. -
Granite Top and Blum Hinges Granite top for vanity installed, dropped my first choice of Black Galaxy as it doesn't turn out as good as those displayed in showroom, the glittering bits too little on actual piece as compared to showroom. So I got Imperial Black instead without looking at actual sample. Am satisfied with what was installed although the Imperial Black seems different from those in Soon Bee Huat showroom. Vanity top with a tall mixer tap. Kitchen top with build in dustbin. Using counter top stove for cooking. Blum Hinges for side opening door panel. Blum Hinges for lift up top opening cabinet. Drawer track for the 3 drawers. Hinges for cabinet above the fridge. Press to open. Flip up type. My cabinet in bedroom and living room should be using Blum hinges too but they don't even have the Blum word on it and looks cheapo. Gonna check with ID what kind of blum hinges are those.
