Aiyo mine also so so only lah, later move in liao very messy Just hopefully everything turn out nicely than happy liao. I don't have lots of shoes, less than 10 I think. I am those who have 1 pair of shoe and if it is comfy for my fat feet, I will keep wearing the same pairs. Just because I decided to rent out the other room for my current housemate (since he and myself can click) to cover my reno cost, I have to factor in his shoe also, definitely need a shoe rack, no need to be big that is for sure, but wish I can place it outside the house, but sure shoe will gone missing. Maybe ikea is the answer, what do you think about this one? If they got different colour.

Oic, I am more a Movie person, Netflix series sometime is a bit slow compare to Hulu, but I think your solution work well.

Actually also don't know how much I save, my ID propose it so it will look better looking in from the dining room, and I have to agree I like the result.

1st congratulation that your selection of your ID Wish all smooth smooth ya. But Wow! 13 Designer, that is a significant numbers of ID, but for your house I am sure all worth it. For me I find that each time after meeting with ID, I will feel very tired. I think exchanging idea with ID is very energy draining process.

Thanks twinkelcloud for the kind words, I forgot the price of the bifold door liao, because my ID custom made it for my vanity area. Ya no top cabinets for the kitchen side that facing the dinning room, only the other side will have a full hight cabinet

True that BOSE is so much affordable now, which system you got previously? But after I try the Linn Kiko system, nothings seems right, so I am thinking maybe at the meantime just get something is more easy for my pocket at this point of time. Luxe if you got time go try it out the Linn (they got display it at TANGS, but with a big space you can't really feel the music when you ask for a demo), but I think you will love it as well. But again, speakers is really subjective for individual. I always watch my tv show and movie via Hulu, Netflix, iTunes. Totally not a torrent person, so Apple TV is a good choice for me, but if you dl the Mac Mini is a good choice to convert it as your entertainment hub. Yes Libratone look more like a piece furniture than a speaker, just like the B&O Play A9, I find it super cool.

Thanks Kara, with someone who have such a nice house your words means lots. Now just need a bit of push all things will be done, but I need to be more hardworking to find the furniture I like, My bed frame and night stand still no point near confirm, on top of that now also thinking should I built a full wall lenght shoe cabinet + storage cabinet under the window, or I should just buy just to have a place to store my shoes right behind the door.

woot woot, WMF! where you find the lobang?? I will go for the wood table top design, as glass top cleaning is a pain I think, as much and I got a glass top coffee table. (美就可以liao, we all same same) 1 from Castlery and 1 from ikea? I do like the Miller dinning table from Castlery, the wood look so solid.

Yes super excited, but again need to keep my finger cross wish there is no boo boo happen. Ya I think the 3rd bed work well with the house and also not metal, but again I yet to see the one from Grafunkt, need to find time go down to the store at Tai Seng (yes Tai Seng again! I don't know how many times I been there liao.) The whole house is going to be white (I am a white wall person and no future wall in the house, lolz) The small corner is going to be my dry pantry for my coffee machine and wine rack. I will try to snap more photo and show you if I went over the place again. How's your coming along? Any update?

Lazyfatcat, thanks for the compliment and acknowledge. hehe. For the open net point, it really need to see what you trying to achieve, if you don't mind that location because it will be where your modem, router located. So there are few things you have to consider, 1. Are you going to use Singtel MIO TV? If yes and if I not wrong the set up box need to be connect to the network via cable (so it will be good for you to relocated the ONT near your new TV console area) 2. Is there a power point near by the current location? Because Modem, Router all need to power up. 3. Do you have or plan a furniture to place the router and modem? I think this is what you need to consider, I place the ONT in the store room just that I find it will be more less messy and I will have network point in area I think I need to have internet. But again to relocate the ONT will cost you few min few hundred (less than 300 I think), but if you feel that is look nicer to place your router at your TV console that you should move it, and again with all the streaming service these day and internet TV, by doing direct connection the internet speed is always faster than WIFI connection. This is my 2 cents lah, if anyone here are better in network please jump in and give Lazyfatcat advice ya. Thanks thanks

I love that Hai armchair as well, sit liao don't want to get up, how I wish I have a bell and ring for a butler (like my house very big like that) It is a very good idea to use Mac Mini to work as an entertainment hub, maybe I can think of you later stage or few years after I move in (because I will be super broke) but I will hook up Apple TV for my movie and Netflix. Love Libratone design, but didn't try the sound before only see it at Apple online store last time, I wanted to get a speaker for my room, been trying lots of speaker (B&W, Bose, B&O, SONOS, Naim Muso) but my heart tell me I should go for Linn Kiko, but the price is no way I can afford. hahaha

Day 70 - Shopping Update This weekend I also did some shopping, as much as I still not get my bed frame. ><" But I still manage to get a few things done. 1. Finally make the decision to go for a 55" Full HD TV, because with a super good price so I go for the Sony KDL55W800c 2. Ordered the side table for the living room (but need to wait up to 16 weeks ) 3. Ordered the armchair with ottoman 4.Bamboo ladder for my dry vanity area (to hang my cloths that I wanted to wear for more than 1 time) on top of that, I also shortlisted one bed frame I saw at Harvey Normal,

Day 70 - Weekend Update I think the renovation is going to end very soon (I think), but up till now my shopping still yet to complete. I don't know why I am never a fast hand fast leg kind. As for the house, lots of things is done. 1. Quartz Counter Top and backsplash, installed 2. All lights installed 3. Bosch oven, delivered and installed 4. Teka Hob, delivered and installed 5. Vanity Mirror, backsplash installed 6. UniArm installed 7. Power plugs, installed I went over after my dinner to check out the unit with all the lights on (been a week since I last went), so here is some of the photo. Ya ya, I am also nice one lor, because I in sales for a long time as well. I always like to treat people how I like to be treated, so most of the time I am nice (most of the time only). But I agree with you, wonder why he ask you to pay for every single thing, maybe that day he not in good mood, just guessing. but please don't be too upset lah. The site of my bed frame will be facing the door, and I love to use quilt, so most of the time about 1/3 of the bed will be cover by it, so in the end it doesn't really matters which frame I am going for. hahaha thanks for pointing it out.

I been there Lazyfatcat, but their furniture not really mine style. with this out I decided to have no TV in my room, so I only can day dreaming or read in my room. When got TV I always sleep super late. Ya maybe this is what I am thinking or maybe I will just go with Divan, been using that for years, only this house I want to go back to bed frame

Yes the wooden is teak wood so it is very solid and this is one of the reason I love it. I do have some time because I only plan to move in (if possible before CNY) if not by end of Feb. I been for many places but nothing come across things that I like. Anyone who can suggest where should I go? This is the list of places I had been, maybe some I need to revisit. I think I will, I got my current mattress measured and it is 33cm, I think is not that think right? I true I think our taste for things will change when over the years, that is one of the reason I go for cement screed for the floor in the house, So that I will be able to change to solid wood flooring in the future without any hacking. (not too sure will that works) Actually my house don't really have a fixed theme, my ID just go with what I like and what I don't on the mood board I share with them. So mine also can say is rojak, but as long as we feel comfortable in it in the end will be the most important.
