Hi hope you don't mind me commenting. My current place's layout is the same as yours and we initially wanted to build a shoe cabinet against the household shelter. We had to abandon the idea as we later realised that there is a beam across from one end of the household shelter to the wall where the sofa is. Just a heads-up so that you can plan alternatives
