aiya.. gadgetgal here. kinda busy with work.. and getting tired of the reno works. hoping to wrap up everything soon. I was doing cement sink support, and cement support for cooker area. But again, you may not need to have it at cooker area for bigger length, cause it is non wet area (probably till the floor trap section only - so when water overflow from floor trap will not damaged your cabinet). I have the pics in page 1 or earlier.. you may want to check it out. Hi Rina, I got it from IMM Jurong east. nearby giant there,.. do let me know if you want that person's contact number.

Austscreen, has never had any experience with them, only request for quotes. But they will only come and do measurement only 'after' confirmation, sounds like no backout plan, if he tries to add in any hidden costs, etc. I asked my contractor to do the shower screen - sliding door, cheaper one with aluminium frame 4mm.around the price indicated earlier.
-
personal experience... austscreen, charge around 5xx+ (near to 600) for one shower screen 10mm. none austscreen, 10mm around 390-490

Hi Yang Guo, You have a very nice galaxy black granite top!. Any idea what is the thickness of it?. I get to know from my contractor that there comes two type, 20mm and 40mm one. I bet yours is 40mm one?. How much your ID/Contractor charge you for that?. Thanks and appreciate your earliest response!.

If I remember correctly, somewhere in november, my block 25A, starhub ever stuffed in a leaflets/notification saying they will come at a predetermined date to test your cable tv (not sure if other blocks have this), but again, I forgotten, and gave it a miss. (Cause my tilings have just started!) In that, If I read correctly it says that starhub will activate at its main for that block and check each unit at a predetermined timing, and if we missed that appointment and if we're to request starhub to come again, we'll be charged a certain amount (not much though), but again, who would have seen the leaflets among 101 other flyers stuffed into our door

Hi Xlan,..! Been a while didn't visit renotalk, been quite busy at work. Btw, you have a really really nice sofa and nice fabrics... mind to share where and how much you got it?. I should have start sourcing it before my woodwork completed in the next 2 weeks. (Seems like gotta move after cny le)

Hi Draught, not sure about the height, but normally, it should not be the same depth as bottom cabinet. You may hit your head when you bent a bit (to see the color of your meals while cooking, or when you cut stuffs). But again, you mentioned your bottom is ard 4ft? are you sure?. mostly what I know is 2ft only, and the top cabinet can range from 1ft to 1+ ft. (depends on personal preferences). If 2 ft, for shorter ppl like me may have difficult time to reach deeper placed items (near to the wall). Btw, yours 4-rm or 5rm ar? got t-blog to see? Now am waiting for my woodwork to be up.. so boring...

Thanks for the info Happy..! Anyone recommended you for that products?. does it need to change the 'core'?. (or does it have a core?)
-
Happy, mind to share we did you get that water filter?. Was thinking to get one too.
-
Anybody know where to get panasonic water filter? Or, is there anyone fixing a water filter?. And care to share how much you get it for?. Earlier, I was quoted for a Diamond for $1980 (no promotion) which I find super expensive, and during christmas they offer promotion $15xx or 16xx (free gift a air purifier). Heard the quality of the 'Diamond' filter still inferior compared to Panasonic. *No offense to 'Diamond' water filter owner.. as I also heard it from a friend.

Hi Cindy, who did you engage to do the CCTV and harddisk recorder? is the recorded pictures smooth and clear?. is it mounted on the ceiling? Can PM me your CCTV vendor's contact and the price? (if you are okay, you can share it in the forum too!) Thanks... Hi fly, mind to share how is your arrangement for all those furnitures you were getting?. Seems quite a lot to fit into our house...
-
Binzz,... It's really... beautiful... a 'WOW' factor you've got there... I love the MBR wardrobe the best.. It's a very huge mirror..!. Will ask my hubby for that!! Mind to show us the arrangement inside? and how deep is the compartment? I love your top kitchen cabinet also!!. Btw, have you measured how deep is your top kitchen cabinet? I haven't finalized the design, and the beam is giving problem with regards to the depth. When can all your wood work completely loaded?. Hope to visit your unit again...

Hi Yang Guo,... Mind to post your toilet shower screen?. I am still stuck in finding solution for mine....
-
I was totally freaked out when I saw your basin....
-
Mind to post picture of your bathrooms kerb?. After discussion with the shower screen guy, he says that can do another kerb, so as the shower screen can move further out, and will not hit the toilet window. So stressed out with that... only way to do is use powder coated 3 panel shower screen (which is around 4mm). Arghh.. it's going to look ugly.. and heavier maintenance. For me, I may be going for Brandt - the pyrolitic one.

Hi All, My common toilet doesn't seem able to fit frameless sliding tempered glass (stainless steel - top track), as the window (the other end of the shower mixer) taken up the space for the track!!. Anyone did tempered glass for their common toilet?. Did your do swing type or sliding type? (sliding with powder coated type or stainless steel bar - top track)?. Seems can only do swing type (swing outward, so as not to hit the mixer), but if the door not closed completely, water can still splash over to the toilet bowl. Aih.. 5-rm common toilet design really a mess... how come HDB never take that into consideration!
-
Yeah,.. mine hit a roadblock too. Shucks... my common toilet doesn't seem able to fit frameless sliding tempered glass (stainless steel - top track), as the window (the other end of the shower mixer) taken up the space for the track!!. Xlan, I remembered you did not do any shower screen for your common toilet, right? (or am I wrong?) nowadays feel so stress due to couple of roadblocks..! Anyone did tempered glass for their common toilet?

Yang Guo, Can you post a picture once you have done with the curtain installation? Really wish to see the effect. Haven't started sourcing for curtain myself... will be doing so after getting my toilet accessories. Btw, thanks !!

Thanks Cindy for the tips... In that case, I will check if I can put some more holes at the back (by the left side). Paging for Binzz... I saw a nice cooling effect marble table in... Balestier plaza (if not mistaken, or is it Shaw plaza?) Didn't notice what plaza, but it's opposite Extreme Lighting. 4ft table with 4 chairs - $1088 4.5ft table with 4 chairs - $1288 extra chairs, each @$90. Haven't asked for discount, as we intend to purchase furnitures/appliances only when our non-movable accessories are fully installed, and ready for move in. Btw, after measuring the space for dining area, we may want to opt out lazie suzie (table size require 4.5ft diameter), cause it may make our dining area small. ps: they may not have the stock, and may need around 4-6 weeks (or probably 8 weeks). They also have oval marble table (5ft long, and 2.5ft wide, 6 chairs - didn't ask how much as the lady took so long to check the round table) pps: tried visiting carrefour last thursday/PH, but couldn't locate the marble tables, only glass table with Lazy suzie.

wah.. re-purchase another one? Dunno if they can provide a trade-in or not... just like handphones..

I will be doing Tall cabinet, oven slot in between of the tall cabinet, and above the oven will have an empty shelve (future space for steam oven, or can put existing Microwave). I was told that for the oven, there will be a small space (horizontal space with a height of I think 2inch) for the heat/air circulation. The tall cabinet is next to my fridge. Not sure how well the cabinet can withstand, but I believe it should be fine. (First time for me to do built-in oven as well).
