Hi Yang Guo, Just fyi, Starhub has on offer for 20" LCD TV for its hubclub member. Not so attractive compared to the earlier Samsung 3x" inch LCD TV though. But since it's free (kind of), not sure if everyone consider getting it or not. For my case, my hubby was still contemplating on either getting this offer, or try his luck on the next good offer frm starhub. anyone has any idea on how your entrance kerb to be done? is there going to be a kerb or just flat (the same level) as the floor of your foyer.. am still confuse and judge wat is good to have kerb, and what is not good. no kerb, when sweep floor is easy, and no danger as in ppl may kick it when in the rush (also good for old people). Got kerb,.. dunno what is it good for, block water when hdb clean/spray the floor outside? (I was thinking to build a transparent thich plastic on my gate to block this). Hi Bee joy, I saw one in courts (if not mistaken), the price is ridiculous, brand four star. But it's not drawer type, but a swing to open type, where you can put stuffs without restriction under your bed, it's wood wrapped with quite a thick leather (won't hurt if you accidentally kick on your bed). But cost.... around $1400. However, I saw a similar one in neighbourhood shop (Boonlay shopping complex - cost around $700++ or $790 if not mistaken, got 3 color to select). personally feel, still cheaper than the courts. but if anyone saw cheaper price than that, do post it up... Just feel, it is too expensive, and should be in the range of $500 at most.

Xlan,.. not trying to pour cold water to you.. but haulage fee $600 for foyer+living room of 4rm only is quite expensive... My ID previously quoted only $450 for living+foyer+dining+kitchen on my 5rm. My current haulage fee is I think around $900 (since I only cement screed MBR and Suggested Study Room), also a bit expensive,.. was hoping $700-800 max. But I guess, he a bit on the lose end when he quoted us earlier, now trying to fix that price by earning a bit..

Gadgetman, may I ask what is the power consumption between 37" and 40"?. I understand from somewhere that the higher the size the more power consumption it will draw, much more (double/triple) the normal TV. After a certain size only it will jump very high in terms of power consumption, otherwise small LCD TV is quite energy efficient. (If not mistaken either 34" or 36" ) Is it true?

door and gate need to be cut?!. how come living room flooring and kitchen can be not level? u do cement screeding on which area?. My HB have repeatedly telling my ID not to cut any of his doors, therefore the ID should be monitoring and marking the level they cement screeded carefully as he love the doors so much. For those cement screeded by HDB, yeap, you will not be charged full amount for the sand and haulage fee (depending how much is the area u cement screed by HDB).

Yeah yeah, totally agree. if not so urgent, can buy it only at a later stage after having the feel of what is good and what is not good/suitable in that place. Buying it at a later stage can be cheaper, say electronic stuffs mostly will drop in price, esp, TV, etc. (amazingly some do increase, not so sure what are they n why so special), and first of all, you can get the latest model instead!. We went to revisit the tiles before finalizing, and found that the newly introduced tiles are quite nice!. therefore we may change it before it is ordered.
