You're paying your ID to do the work & even any rectification. So it ultimately is her responsibility to make sure her paid project goes smoothly too.

Ready made curtains do come in standard sizes like 1-2 panel window specs that kind. You need to check the packaging also.

Can't really tell clearly if its wavy from the angle you took it at & I see spots in the pic, It might be cos its not a full length mirror + it has a frame . So when mounted, the mirror won't be really flat against the wall, slightly slanted due to the hooks & frame?

Congrats on your upcoming bundle of joy. Got to be sure the room is airy. well ventilated enough since babies sleep alot for the most period of their infancy stages. Perhaps you might want to consider a baby walkie, something like a walkie talkie where you can hear the baby crying in the room from your side easier. Basically, a baby cot, a changing station, a table with baby necessities such as milk powder tin, feeding bottles & um a portable electric kettle (small one) or a thermal pot for hot water to prepare milk unless otherwise. 1 big bowl for hot water to be poured in which you can sterilise milk bottles, pacifiers after use or if dirty. Hmm then you need to have a supply of diapers on standby too. (This is only for the period of infancy stages) When your kid is bigger like about 2yrs & above, you can do a proper designing of a children's playpen or nursery with toys and etc. Usually white is a safer bet for neutrality. Pastel colours are also good. It just depends on whether its a baby boy or baby girl for your theme.

Ah you are aves's spouse? If you guys are on the alert just like me then not a big issue to clean it up but... unless if your furkids have a habit of pee-ing everywhere just like my hubby's dog does. Its going to be alot of work to check everywhere esp if your place is big to begin with. I think my hubby's dog is just confused now cos he used to stay at my PILs place before which is a 3 room. Your doggie looks like my baby ger with a soulful look. Think my baby ger inherited it from her dad which is also a shih tzu. Mother's a cockeral spaniel, so the snout is not flat as a shih tzu's. Can see my baby ger here at - http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...538&st=160#

Yorkies are 2x smaller than silky terriers as I've ascertained judging by Ranval's oreo & my hubby's dog, summer. So can tell which is a yorkie & which is a silky terrier based on their size although appearance are similar. Both breeds are cute too. keke Ave's 2nd dog, the black & white doggie is a shih tzu right? Looks like my crossbreed baby. Sadly, didn't even consider that hubby's dog will be staying with us cos his dog had been staying with my in laws all the while or else I wouldn't have gone for laminated flooring. Then it became a crazy habit for me to conduct 'spot checks' every day at times in the day & night to check for any pee spots on the floor since whole place except wet areas are laminated flooring.

Hello Banzai18 no worries about the sewing part as you just need to secure the ribbons to the lace by stitching it on. You could do a very tiny cross using white thread just to secure it properly just like the buttons sewn on by hand with a cross over the holes.

You know, if you can't find a suitable lacy table cloth to give it that kind of country style feel.. Maybe you might want to some DIY, ie; find some ruffle trimmings and paste it round the table edges below the table top & if possible, sew 4 or 5 ribbons to the ruffle trimmings at hexagonal points ? Can even add matching socks with ribbons for the table legs? Then complete the look with a fruit basket or a country style vase. Add some nice cushions to the dining table chairs & maybe ruffle trimmings + a ribbon per trimming at the back of the chairs? It might complete the victorian country style since your furniture is all dark and that period was all dark, edgy style with those barogue art.

Power le you, "wack" agent upside down. Just hope that everything goes smoothly for you with no more problems from agent and seller

Fraternal twins ah? Not difficult for you and your hubby to tell the girls apart but its kinda rare to have fraternal twins for the same gender. In almost all cases, same gender twins tend to be identical.

All the food listed by you, im already drooling le. I want to eat!! kekeke I like souffle & tiramisu too. Im a glutton for sinfu stuff. Your MBR toilet very cool looking but you prob would need to air your cabinet once in a while cos toilets are wet areas with moisture

Kekeke chef in what speciality? Culinary? Baking? Patisserie? Sous?
-
Wah, you do alot of research on industrial kitchen island.
-
I like the kitchens too. But I guess I'd like to have kitchens done up for baking. Im quite lousy at cooking actually. Thank god my hubby haven't complained yet. The fridge you talking about, anything similar to a mini fridge in size?

Hmm black tone down red ah? Maybe its cos black is considered a negative colour for balancing other strong colours I suppose? Grey is neutral since it borders btwn the balance of black and white. Red is a fiery colour for bringing out the image of passion and fire ma? Btw. nice mossaic. Glad to see you and your hubby came to a consensual reach on the mossaic tiles.

That's a cute poodle right? And ya got to agree your doggie got a very very good life compared to other doggies. Air con somemore. I bet other doggies will be duper jealous of the pampering treatment given to your doggie sia. Spaghetti curtains= string curtains ah? Why is there a big trend for kitchen island nowdays? Im already envying those who can afford to have an kitchen island in a spacious kitchen sia.

post pics of your doggie too. kekeke

Jonkrisiggy, congrats!!! I think you will be coping on how to tell the twins alike initially kekeke. But twins will look slightly different with middle age somehow. *winks*

I wish summer is toilet trained but he's paper trained to do his biz on paper. Still he does it anywhere in the house when we're not watching.

Glad to hear your koffy ger is getting better. As for her peeing problem, I think she's confused in your new place le. Just like summer, my hubby's dog. He previously stay with my in laws & summer is like the apple of my FIL cos like a son to them ma. Somemore my in law's place is a 3 room flat, smaller than my current place. We think he is confused esp with the balcony part 'cos balcony is like "outside" part of the hse so he will pee there often, including at the balcony door in the living room. Also my in laws spoilt summer so much that its very difficult to get him to learn properly despite smacking him when he does wrong. Initially he behaved himself a bit but now, a bit jialat. As a result, I have to spot check every then and now in the day and night time for any pee spots as my whole place except kitchen & balcony are all laminated flooring. some parts of my laminate flooring shows slight swelling but not that bad though. Your koffy ger might need to get re-trained around the new house to adapt & know where to pee. Im trying my best to retrain summer.
