Also, my sofa arrived today. It's the Felix sofa from King Living. Took a couple of pics while they were setting it up but wasn't quick enough to take a picture of the completed sofa before they covered it up. They have to cover because there is still more work that needs to be done in the living room. Mainly carpentry. http:// http:// I really like the colour. Hopefully it will cover up the dirt coz it will be quite tough to remove the covers. And here it is all covered up. Tomorrow will be the carpentry - Yay - and my project manager will throw on another layer of plastic protection and seal it with tape. (Yes, my id said they will install the cupboard doors with the fabricated handles tomorrow.) http:// One last thing. I do like my id a lot. He is very fussy about my whole project, even fussier than me and that's one of the key reasons why my reno is taking longer than what was projected. Besides the cupboard door handle, he also called his tile guy to come back again as he is not satisfied with some of the wall tiling work in my common bathroom. I couldn't spot the defects but he did and he got it rectified. Even when it comes to my dining room chairs, he'd rather look for it for me even though i said i could buy the chair online. He doesn't want me to get it online as he was not confident of the quality. This is not to say that he wants me to get things expensive. I saw the chair in a local store but he felt it was too much to pay for a dining room chair, hence my going online. (Below is a pic of the chair I want.) So all in all, despite the delay, I'm still happy I engaged him. http://

Things have been going a bit slow. While the skeleton of the cupboards are all up, most of the doors are not fitted yet. And this is due to one main reason, my id couldn't find handles he liked. So he decided to get the handle fabricated instead. That has taken awhile. Below is a picture of the almost complete handle project. http:// It's nice and i like it but the delay.... But I guess it is better that my id is taking his time to get things done right rather than a quick job which will be below par. In the meantime other small things have been done. This is my kitchen cabinets with some of the doors fitted using Blum hinges. http:// My doors have been painted to match my feature wall. Hi all, need some advice. Despite starting my reno at the end of March, my place doesn't look like it will be ready before 7th month. The general belief is not to move during 7th month, but unfortunately, as my lease on my cuirrent renatl apt will end just after 7th month, I will have no choice but to move into my new place during 7th month. Need advice on whether it is really bad luck to move during 7th month and if yes, are there any ways to ward off the bad luck. Thanks to all in advance.

As for my bathroom vanity tops, below are the photos. This first photo is of my mbr bathroom. The top is granite. Slightly shiny under light and very reflective. There actually isn't any blue, but it is the effect when lights are on. http:// This is another view. http:// This photo shows the common bathroom. It's less elaborate - plain dark grey. It's a lighter shade coz the lights are on. Unfortunately my common bathroom doesn't get very much natural light. http://

Things are slowly but surely coming together. Went down to my place today and saw that they had put the counter tops in the kitchen and vanity tops in the bathrooms. This is my kitchen counter top. It's called Dekton and is supposed to be quartz I believe but using a new manufacturing process. I chose a new colour called Aura 15 which looks like marble. http:// This another view with my team hob in the background. http:// This is my kitchen. The view is from the utility area. http:// The top two photos are a bit dark, but as you can see from the third photo, the top is white with grayish streaks.

I'm in a similar situation. My reno started in April and my ID told me it will be done by end June. So I have been very chill. All I told him was I wanted to move in by mid-July (unlike you, I don't have a wedding to prep for, but I do want to move in before 7th month starts on 3 August). So now, I'm chasing my ID quite a bit too.

Just to add @diamondsmum, there is a bundle sale on at the moment at Home Fix and Taka. I compared price between Singapore bundle sale and Amazon and all in (including shipping), Singapore is slightly cheaper.
