Hey, - my kitchen pull-out table though is different frm wat u intended 2 do, i find its kinda similar concept. See e pix below, ignore e paper-tape on e granite top & e plastic wraped around e legs. - it is made up of Black Galaxy granite, solid plywood, 1 set 3-track runners, 1 pcs square hollow section polished stainless steel legs. - basically, e design -> polished stainless steel legs (A-shape design) is screw 2 e thk plywood below which inturn is glued 2 e granite top. e other side which is at e tall cabinet side is supported by runners on plywood support. In fact, dis granite worktop is 3ft x 1ft, its kinda heavy oleady. - for ur case of 1.8m x 1m marble, i gues it wld b much heavier. Definitely gota do a box frame 2 support e slab, regardless wats e legs design & how u gona connect e marble 2 e legs support. - ask ur marble supplier lah, i belief they hav e contacts. - if u stil nid e contact, i do hav some1 in mind. U gota bring watever sample pix & discuss wif e person-in-charge. - but price i guess wil b kinda on e high side. If polished stainless steel mayb between $500 - $750. Hairline finished wld b cheaper but less appealing. On e whole, its stil cheaper than retail if can get e marble slab at a cheap rate. - PM mi if u stil nid e contact.

Hey neighbours, - any1 on e high floor experience hairline wall cracks? - las time b4 reno oleady got crack. - complaint hdb service centre, asked them 2 rectify. - rectified liao, nicely done. - now 3 mths later, after my reno done & painted, CRACK again !! - by rite, it shouldn't crack again. By left it crack again. - dat means, dis time e crack its wider than e 1st time. B.cos previous cracks were patched up & painted. - if every 3 mths like dat, dunoe how leh. crack - patch up - paint, crack - patch up - paint, crack - patch up - paint ... Hey, - 1st paint commonly refers 2 e base coat. Commonly & widely use is 'Super White Emulsion Paint' by Nippon, regardless u r choosing ICI or Nippon paint s e final color. - 2nd paint commonly refers 2 e 1st coat. It is e exact color u see on e paint booklet. In fact, it shd b slightly thicker or brighter in color. - 3rd paint commonly refers 2 e 2nd coat or final coat. It is e exact color u see on e paint booklet. In fact, it shd b e same color s e 1st coat after it dries. - wen e paint is stil wet, e appearance of e newly painted tends 2 look different. After it had dried, e correct color wil appear. - by rite, wat color 1 chooses frm e paint booklet is wat 1 gona see at end of day s e end product. In some cases, e end product may appear richer in color due 2 natural or mechanical lighting. - 2 cut cost or rather recycle left over paint frm previous jobs, some painter use e 'left over' & mix & match 2 meet e client's chosen color. Dis 1 can b seen during day 1, wen e cans of paints arrived, b4 e painters start work. E paint cans shd b new, had neber been opened. Whether e can of paint had been used b4 anot, any layman can tel frm there. - a professional way of painting is 2 pour e paints 1 gona use in2 a big container & paint frm there. So dat watever unused which is untouched in e new container, can b kept by u for future usage. - if e painter gona paint direct frm e new can, gota make sure he finish e whole can. If not, after he paint e 1st coat, he gota wait it 2 dry b4 2nd coat. Meanwhile, he washes e same brush by running water & uses it 4 another color. - although e brush is left 2 dry, dis is e time e mildly wet brush cums in2 contact wif e paint. - once paint cums in2 contact wif water, there wil b chemical reaction over time, u wil definitely smell wat u had described, e sweaty jersey. - new paint in e container which did not cum in2 contact wif water, wif proper storing, can b kept for yrs. - if e 1st & 2nd coat cums frm e same container, dat means e painter had unintensionally or carelessly let e paint cums in2 contact wif water. Evidently, e 2nd coat had been mixed wif water, frm purplish becums bluish. - watever painted canot b undone. No pt arguein who's rite who's wrong. My suggestion is 2 demand ur ID & painter 2 paint it 2 ur chosen color which is reflected in e booklet. - last resort, get a new can of paint. Worse 2 worse, hold on ur payment. - olso, if end of day u gona touch up e edge on ur own, gota do it very thin & 1 time. If not u wil see e patches at diferent angle, b it by brush or roller or sponge.

If accidentally lock frm within & no 1 is inside, can stil open frm outside with special tools & skills.

- 2 take out e dnlite in 1 whole pcs, u du not hav 2 cut e false ceiling. - e dnlite is fastened 2 e false ceiling by 'pins' on both sides in e internal of e dnlite casing. - e dnlite glass casing olso applies e same method, fasten by 'pins' on both sides. - wen there's a nid 2 change e energy saving bulb (eg. warm white, cool white or daylight), jus nid 2 open up e glass casing. 1 side of e glass casing wil stil b hanging (pin stil hooked), 1 side loose (pin not hook), both pins r fixed 2 e internal of e glass casing. Replace bulb, press e pin & insert in2 e correct slot of e dnlite casing, close e glass casing. Dis applies 2 square type of dnlite. - circular type of dnlite is easier, jus nid 2 turn e casing anti-clockwise or clockwise. - w/o casing even easier. Jus like those in our lift lobby. - some dnlites, e light bulb holder is vertical while most r horizontal. - wen e light bulb holder is horizontal, some designs can b tilted, so dat changing of bulb is w/o fuss. - wen there's a nid 2 take dn e dnlite casing. (1) Remove e glass casing. (2) Remove bulbs (3) Release e pins in e dnlite casing, take it dn. (4) off MCB at main switch board 2 play safe, unscrew e (-) small screws dat fasten e wires. - changing of bulb, most ppl can do. But take dn e whole dnlite casing, not every1 noes how 2. - e lightings were recomended by ur ID rite? Jus giv him a frndly call, tel him ur situation frm day 1 (spoilt changed & spoilt again). i belief he'l try solve 4 u. - if not, then u gota call e lighting shop, repeat wat u told ur ID. They definitely gota rectify 4 u. - at e last resort, tel them u willing 2 top-up slightly more 2 change 2 a better internal component. Do not attempt to tamper with any electrical wiring & fittings if u r not sure, esp. wen e main MCB is ON, LIVE current is expose.

Needs 2 extend e gas pipe 2 e new gas water-heater. - all dis charges is payable 2 Citygas by 'owner' via e utility bill. - therefore, it shd not b chargeable in watever reno contract.
