Baby's room (can't take pix of whole room oso, the color we chose didn't exactly matched our expectation... realized that a bit pale compared to the one in catalogue... ) Master bedroom.. the color oso not as we expected..

Some recent updates..... Dining / Living flooring done including skirting.. 1st coat of painting done.. Laminate of bedroom floors halfway done.. Lights & electrical wiring halfway done.. BTW, was surprised when electricians were still around at 8pm when we dropped by the other day.. Guess our ID is rushing to meet our deadline Guestroom/study

thks for the advise.. i'll try to compromise bet quality & $$ heee ummm dunno if it's fast ..? it's already arnd 4 wks now since 17th Dec (+ holidays).. tiling not really completed yet including the laminate on the 4 bedrooms...

ya.. seller said it's solid teak... dunno, maybe will look around first for some table like this but dun need solid wood.. any shop u can recommend? want to go to Sungei Kadut this wkend... thanks!

Can oso get dryer .. but of cuz not everything can put in dryer or else some clothes will shrink

Common Toilet tiles Master Toilet tiles... Dun have decent photo of living/dining tiles as most are covered... Current study wall hacked as we're making this room smaller.. New wall up + False ceiling done.. That's it for today! Enjoy the pix!

Hi there.. thanks! Yes, the prev owner is indian We signed up before 2nd appt coz we wanted to start reno straight away.. dun wan to pay some more $$ for rent (we're currently renting)... Sidetrack a bit, at the end we we'ren't able to start reno right after 2nd appt coz the prev owner request to stay for 3 wks more coz she got no place to stay oso ... haiz... now in the end we r oso extending our current rent for 2 more wks coz afraid reno won't finish on time !!

Hey, your tiles in master toilet is same as our friend's house's.. it's really really nice! Elegant looking !! A bit regret we opted for those safe common 'white' tiles for our toilet.. And you've got an interesting common sink there.. nice!

Wow! big feature wall! 11 ft! nice nice carpentry at your place! I like the sliding "feature wall" to hide WIW & master bath sigh.. cannot do WIW for mine.. it'll take too much space coz my baby is co-sleeping with us now and we need space for her cot... anyways.. I'd rather have her than the WIW maybe in the future when she's bigger and sleeps on her own room.. then can do a WIW

I thought our feature wall is a bit simple... but after thinking through and going thru some suggested designs, like lights, mirror or glossy laminate, finally decided to go for this design coz we're afraid we won't like it there's something reflective in the feature wall that you will see yourself while watching tv Also, we can't make it longer.. it's already 6ft wide.. no budget already It's ok oso... my little girl will hv a lot of space for running around.. I'm sure these spaces will be invaded mostly by the little one's stuffs/toys Anyway, thanks for dropping by and I sure hope our reno goes fairly smooth Ei happy thanks for dropping by! hehe it's rather unique right? no leh.... it's already gone actually .. we're replacing homo for living/dining and wood laminate for all the rooms.. Now, the proposed layout and design... the TV console will be changed to 2 layers.. we need a lot of storage space for CDs and DVDs.. kitchen as is except cabinets are without handles.. our baby girl's wardobe guest room's wardrobe master's wardrobe and bath the front of the cabinet at the side will be changed to frosted glass instead.. That's all folks for today! I'll be posting the actual reno progress later this week.... For now, I'll be thanks! I hope you enjoy the pix
