hI ANGELFRENZ.. ours is low floor unit... cos by the time its our turn to pick a unit.. all 4 rooms are booked .. that's why we chose a 5 room ... our q- number was in between type.. that's why at first we thot by the time its our turn maybe no more flats liao.. luckily still have.. somewhere close to my in laws place.. about 10 min drive away.. take bus wont be convient... so how much did u pay for your reno? u alr spend so much on ur hse purchase.

Hello angelfrienz... i believe it is very exp... did u get high floor unit? when i got mine during last yr oct bi-monthly for a standard 5 room. it was around 210k.

as for us... we wanted to visit one of his flat before signing up with Roy...but the owner last min not free... s0 end up we din view any of his show flats before we sign up with him... So far everything are good... only problem is our kitchen floor tiles .... cos according to his tiler that our kitchen fllor is quite flat ... so no gradient... that's why after laying the 30*60cm de kitchen tiles.. our kitchen so called got flooded when the workers draw water from the kicthen tap, left over water start to pile up as the floor are flat... cant channel the water into the hole... we were quite upset with this cos the tiler din inform us that our floor are flat before laying... BUt ROy actually did some rectify work... he asked the tiler to hack away our kitchen entrance first 3 tiles to build a small kerb to prevent water from flooding into our living room plus widen the water drainage hole... so this weekend we are gg down to our new home to test whether does the water still flood to the living room or not.. apart from this- no problem at all .. : ) so my advice is before they lay tiles in ur home.. check with Roy whether is your kitchen fllor flat.. i think can ask the tiler to measure for you... they will know...if u want to wash ur kitchen floor next time instead of just mopping... i think u shd just tell them say u want gradient in ur kitchen floor, see if they can do it for u before they lay the tiles.. cos after laying... got any prob... u cant ask roy to hack for u free... like us... we first time renovating hse...so alot of things not sure only when encounter then know.. so actually we are still learning what to look for when renovating.. I guess end of the day... most importantly Roy must be able to co-ordinate well with his men.. even after having problem ... he still can resolve _sui sui for you that's most important.. rather then push the blame to the others and nothing is done later on like some of our friends' Id cases... So no worries in Roy's work pple.. Trust him.. : ) ur home will be in good hands

Hello Virgo and Baby tan... was reading thru the thread here... haha... i aso come and spam... ps ps... so have u guys gotten ur drawings from roy? so far i have already done kitchen and living room tiling.. 2 toilet tiles was hack and replaced by HDB due to they cant find the exact tile to replace those cracked ones.. now they just finish painting base coat.. guess u gers also very eager to see ur reno... so muz post more pictures k..

Hi Baby Tan, i have posted my picture in another thread under Inzen... but not sure is it still there... but here u go... these are my 3d view from INZEN ROY! : ) a thumb up person.. actual reno is still in progress... i promise.. once it is cleaner and flooring all up... i will post more of the actual pict... currently I do not have the my new kitchen layout .. but i can show u my previous drawing by Max who work for Roy.. Roy once mentioned to us.. if we have any problem with the reno... just tell him straight away.. he will solve for us.. and yes he did what he have promised so far... workmanship and design will not lost to those branded co.. but this is just our comments.. hope to see more posts here ... keep this thread alove.. Hi pple... me too! my husband and i have enage Roy tan as our contractor for our new home... our reno alr started like 2 weeks ago... and its about 30% completed with connie, false ceiling .. box up... so far so good! rest assured.. if u have any problem .. just let him know... he will owis give u good advice and resolve it nicely for u ! ..

Hi Hi I am new to this forum... Been very troubled over what Aircon that we should buy and install..Could someone give us some advice? Ok as for us, We just bought a 5rm standard flat at Jurong West 110sqm We have a square living /dinning room. Our relatives actually gave us their 3mth to 6mth old LG LM-2065C3L sys 3 non- invertor aircon for our 3 bedroom. http://cars-portal.com/2006/06/24/lg-multi...ype-lm-2065c3l/ And my husband wants 1 aircon for our living room also ... The quotes we got for installing this 3 to 6mths old aircon plus 1 non-invertor M.E = $2000 M.E sys 4 plus invertor installation from one of the IMM shops (forgotten the shop name) = $3600 QNS: Should we install these LG sys 3 in the first place? Cos we heard alot that says LG brand uses quite a lot of energy.. electricity bill wil be very high... Qns 2 : or we should abandon using the LG sys 3 and go for M.E sys 4 invertor directly? Qns 3: If we install the LG aircon - in 2 or 3 yr down the road if it breaks down or we decided to go for a new one, do we need to re-do the wiring and piping also?? Currently, its only me and husband will be living in this flat - Main usage will be from 10pm to 6am daily for MBR. And about 2 to 4 hrs living room over the weekends. 2 bedroom aircon will not be using that often perhaps just the study room for like e.g 2hrs at most once in a while since we do not have kids yet? help pls Thank you!
